Task 1 Research a sporting hero and write a short biography about them. Try to include information about their sport, their achievements and how they trained for their sport.

Task 2 Design your own football kit for a sporting hero! Think about the different patterns and colours you could use. Once you have designed your kit, write a paragraph to describe your kit. Remember to use adjectives, capital letters and full stops.

Task 3 Imagine you were a reporter on the day that Usain Bolt won his gold medal for 100m sprint. Write a newspaper report to detail the sporting achievement, Make sure to include who was running, what happened, when, what and why it happened.

Task 4 Imagine you have a chance to interview your sporting hero. What questions would you ask them? Remember to use a mixture of questions so you can gather as much information as possible. You could even hot seat your sporting hero with a family member asking you the questions.

Task 5 Can you write 5 sentences to describe each sporting photograph. Remember to use interesting adjectives, verbs and adverbs.
