Introduction

Bob Redman grew up on the Upper West Side of Manhattan and was discovered by the Parks Department after he built a series of intricate tree houses in Central Park in the 1980s. He was hired by the Central Park Conservancy as a climber and pruner.

Redman history, we can easily relate to the film, for the film "Tarzan".

Tarzan was the son of a British lord and lady were abandoned on the Atlantic coast of Africa by mutineers. When Tarzan was a child, his mother died of natural causes and his father was killed by Kerchak, leader of the monkey tribe who was adopted Tarzan. Thereafter, Tarzan became a wild child. Tribe of Tarzan the Ape is known as the Mangani, Great Apes of a species unknown to science. Kala is the mother monkey.

Redman and Tarzan are related since both live nature, especially trees. It may be regarded as ape-men.

The Central Park is a park located in New York, which is observed from the central park with treetops and huge cliffs of stone and cement. All those traveling to that place, must visit and stay in a room on the top of one of the southern end of Central Park hotels, because there is an extraordinary sight.

Life among the treetops

People close to the park thought someone might be living among the treetops, that was true, because it lived one handsome man for eight years.

"I like the solitude"

Bob Redman brought up with his mother in a tiny Manhattan apartament until 14 years old. When he went inside in the Central Park started to build the first tree house of 13 houses, each one more elaborate than the last. Bob Redman said "I like to be in the trees" to a reporter from the New York Times. He love most of all to look the stars.

A five-room Split level home

His final house was the plits of them all. The house a “five- room plit level home commanding spectacular views of the city skyline and Central Park”.

Friends came to visit

Bob Redman had to hide his neglected tree houses in the corners of the park and camouflaging them with branches and green paint. Friends used to come to visit him, bringing sandwiches, radios, books and torches. But Bob Redman had rules in his houses: No breaking branches, no litter, no fires, and no loud noise except his brother when he brought a set of conga drums and them were played very late at night.

The party’s over!

The park authorities quickly became aware of his activities. Some lasted as long as a whole year before they were found and destroyed the house. Bob was awoken one morning with the words: “Come down! The party’s over”

He climbed down and was met by Frank Serpe, Park Director, and ten officers of the Parks Enforcement Patrol. Mr. Serpe said “ We marvelled at the spectacular workmanship “ and “The floors were very strong”

The perfect job!

Mr Serpe, director of the Central Park, Concluded that rather than lock him up in jail, perphaps they should offer Redman a job. Bob Redman is a Professional pruner now and tree climber for the Central Park conservancy. He promised to don't build any more tree houses.
