A yOuNG chef from Kelsalls Roal Oak pb has been

invited to prepare the dessert at a special awards dinner to

celebrate the North Wests most talented ong chefs and

hosts.

Reef Westons warm almond tart, poached pear, amarettoice cream and crme anglaise was served p for 160

gests at the celebrated Nnsmere Hall. The marqee

dinner last month was organised b Taste Northwest to

rond off a series of food events that has celebrated the

regions best emerging talent.

Back in April a dinner at the Roal Oak cooked b 23

ear-old Reef - featred Taste Northwest director Pam

Billingtons favorite dessert of the ear. So she chose it

for the Nnsmere meal and asked Reef to take charge of

prodction on the night.Reef (pictred), who was born at Dddon and lives at Delamere, began learning his trade

after leaving Tarporle High School. He has worked at the Roal Oak for 11 months.

I love ptting something on a plate that looks good, he sas, and the fact that other

people like it too adds p to an nreal level of job satisfaction.

environment? Equity markets so

far in 2012 have started on a much

more positive note. This could be

due to a realisation setting in that

there is a political will to resolve

the crisis coupled with a strong

desire among leaders to keep

European Monetary Union (EMU)

together.

In recent times, investors have

become worried that there is

worse to come and that share

prices will decline no matter

what the industry sector or

market share of companies. As

a result, they often buy and sell

at precisely the wrong time. The

fear of missing out pulls investors

in when markets are soaring, and

causes them to sell when they

have already fallen.

Yet there are excitingand attractive investment

opportunities out there. Take,

for example, large blue-chip

companies with a strong and
