traditional knowledge in ARD decision making.

Impact Indicators:• Number and type of value chains enhanced, and types of changes (e.g. increased use of technology)• Number and type of ARD policies enhanced, and types of changes.

Example of Project Indicators- Promoting ICTs for Agriculture

Outcome Indicators:• O.1 ICT for Agriculture entrepreneurs and organizations with promising innovative concepts are supported in

moving from concept to demonstration project, and then from demonstration project to a business model.• O.2 New ICT for agriculture initiatives are started by direct project beneficiaries based on promising initiatives in

other countries or different sectors • O.3 Direct project beneficiaries report improvements in their management of ICT for Agriculture projects. In

particular, they report that they are better able to develop business plans and scaling-up strategies, and present these to potential financiers.

• O.4 Innovative ideas, practical experiences in implementing ICT for agriculture projects, and lessons learnt are better documented (as indicated by the publication of case studies, briefing notes, studies etc.) and better disseminated (as indicated by the discussion of these documents in electronic fora and the reach of internet materials).

Impact Indicators:• Mainstreaming of ICT for agriculture in agricultural policies;

• spreading and scaling up of ICT for Agriculture projects in ACP countries, as reported and documented by project partners, beneficiaries and other sources
