handling of applications and permits from conceptual designs through construction

permitting.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Able to communicate easily and effectively with a wide variety of people resulting in clear understanding of issues and

outcomes.

• Ability to understand and present the goals and objectives of all parties, thereby eliminating misunderstandings and mistrust

between parties.

• Strong design background that provides a basis for developing alternative solutions to difficult problems or situations, while

ensuring the results are satisfactory to each of the parties involved.

• Experienced with working with clients from the initial discussion of a project to the final permits being approved, issued and

construction started.

• Knowledge of zoning and land use regulations and how regulations are applied and enforced, ability to develop strategies

and solutions for satisfying regulatory constraints and achieving project approval.

EXPERIENCE:

Since 1999 Roger Shanks Consulting has prided itself on providing professional planning consultant services to a variety of clients

in their endeavors to secure planning and building permit approvals. Assistance has involved processing specific plan

documents, general plan amendments, rezonings, conditional use permits, tract maps, annexations and a variety of other

permits, from City and County agencies. Services have also included providing assistance with the securing of building permits.
