What are fixtures?

Fixtures is equipment in a store used to display product on the selling floor – i.e. gondola, softlines rack, gondola-type fixtures. Many of these items are sourced and purchased by Indirect Procurement (IP), a team in Property Development Operations. The term "fixture" may refer to many different things.

What we do? The Fixture Procurement Team is responsible for the sourcing,

procurement and vendor management of fixture materials.

Different types of Fixtures.

Hardlines• A store department or product line primarily consisting of

merchandise such as hardware, housewares, automotive, electronics, sporting goods, aids or toys.

Softlines• A store department or product line primarily consisting of

merchandise such as clothing, footwear, jewellery, linens and towels

KANA• Kana is an application where we receive the store requests with regard

to Helpdesk queries.

Outlook• Fixture.Purchasing is a mailbox managed by the Centre of Excellence

team in Target India and HQ which involves answering requests pertaining to Non – Transitional Requests coming mostly from the stores.

Types of Requests we receive from the stores

Requests for part numbers/Fixture Numbers/Adhoc Fixtures.

Request for Order Tracking/Order Received damaged/return order/Cancel Order/Expedite Order.

Request to place order for Restricted part numbers.
