Page 2: Target audience

● The target audience for my media product are people aged between 14 – 19 as I think this is the age of people who would be more attracted to buy a rock/metal magazine. It should appeal to both male and female audiences to attract more people.

My Target Audience

You can tell this persons likes rock music due to the attitude of the person. He is smoking whilst his hands casually in his pocket which connotes a rebellious attitude which is a stereotype of the rock genre. He is also wearing an AC/DC shirt which is a famous classic rock band which obviously shows that he is a fan of the genre.

His body language and hand gesture is open and is like he doesn't care about anything which is an ideology of rock fans.

This girl represents my target audience as she has the attitude of a stereotypical rock fan. She is sat down on the floor smoking which, again, connotes a rebellious lifestyle. Her ramones top is also a famous punk rock band which shows that she is a fan of the rock genre.

Page 7: Target audience

This girl would be a target audience for the magazine as she has very big hair which has been dyed. Her eye makeup is also very big which makes them stand out. Her appearance resembles the "emo" / "scene" stereotype and the sub genre of rock.

Page 8: Target audience

This girl represents my target audience as she looks young and has an indie/rock style in the way she dresses. She is standing in a slouched position which connotes her attitude similar to the rock stereotype mentioned before.
