MR conditional: thanks to the particular technology the modern S AIR B 800 controllers meet the requirements for application in MR- environments. S AIR controllers are MR conditional up to 4.7 Tesla.

Surgical trolley: the sturdy, smooth-running trolley is made of stainless steel. It has two equipment rails 25 x 10 mm and smooth-running antistatic castors (two of them are lockable in position).

Effective protection from oversuction: as in the past, the ingress of contaminated fluid is one of the most frequent causes of defects to a tapping unit, particularly as this can often easily lead to a cost-intensive contamination of the vacuum pipeline system of a clinic or specialist practice. In order to prevent this, the new S AIR tapping units can be operated with a suitable overflow protection device thanks to a special mechanism. The user can choose between �� a mechanical overflow protection with additional particle filter or �� a particularly high-performance hydrophobic bacterial and viral filter.

Both overflow protection systems can be fitted with vacuum connection tube with internal diameters of 6 mm and 8 mm.

Mechanical overflow protection: to ensure effective protection from oversuction, the mechanical overflow protection has a special particle filter in addition to the float. Another advantage is the great distance between the inlet and outlet of the overflow protection which prevent ingress of fluid into the tapping unit. For safe mounting, the mechanical overflow protection is attached directly to the S AIR tapping unit with the help of a bayonet coupling.

Hydrophobic bacterial and viral filter: it also offers the greatest of safety in the event of foam formation. In this way, the hydrophobic bacterial and viral filter protects the tapping unit and the central compressed air system of a clinic or special practice in a particularly reliable way. The hydrophobic bacterial and viral filter is attached to the S AIR tapping unit with a stable, precisely fitting adapter with bayonet coupling.
