Black college with an enrollment of approximately 2200 undergraduate students. I serve as
the chief academic officer of a school of six to eight professional programs including Social
Work, Public Health, Recreation and Leisure Studies, Sport Management, and Military
Science. (2013-2015: this school included Elementary Education, Early Childhood
Education, Child and Family Studies, Upward Bound I & II, and a NAEYC accredited child
development center). I have managed and provided oversight of the following national
program accreditations: Council on Social Work Education (CSWE); Council on

Accreditation of Parks, Recreation, Tourism and Related Professions (COAPRT); National
Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC); National Council for the
Accreditation of Teacher Education (NCATE)/Council for the Accreditation of Educator
Preparation (CAEP); as well as state licensures related to the child development center. I
provide oversight in the assessment of student learning outcomes and other assessment
activities for each program of study. I manage school wide budgets. I have supervised 25 to
40 faculty and staff. I serve on the Deans' Council and other college wide committees. There
are currently 482 students in the School of Health and Human Services.

the new MSSW curriculum with a concentration in evidence based social work practice, and
an emphasis on social justice, spirituality and social work, and an appreciation of diversity. I
oversaw the implementation of the curriculum by the faculty. I coordinated and wrote
CSWE accreditation documents from application through initial accreditation. I served as
graduate advisor for MSSW students. I chaired the MSSW Admissions Committee, the
Curriculum Committee, and the Faculty Search Committee. I was the Phi Alpha Honor
Society founding sponsor. I mentored new faculty.

Completed a comprehensive review of the literature regarding substance usage among
