With the help of design basics, it is clear that how to useelement of design while designing a dress. We learned aboutelement :‐ point, shape , form etc. how to create line with thehelp of point and many more. About of this, we also learnedhow to dra� the shape and pa�erns through these shapes.And also have created Islamic pa�erns etc. created mo�f atoun, and through repea�ng these mo�fs, pa�ern take places.Also created forms that is 3d form of shape and designed adress have different silhoue�es, with these 3d forms.

INTRODUCTION

PLISSE EFFECT Plisse effect is the concept of paper folding in any direc�on.First of all we learned about some paper folding and createdJapanese fan pleats.A�er than these pa�erns were taken onto the fabric and thuscreated a design with the help of plisse effect. The fabric I clearform this effect was‐ co�on, polyester. And later select organdifabric for s�ffness.

This year our college held theevent named :‐ iden�tyexhibi�on on ‐9th &10th Nov.2017. the exhibi�on concept was‘hooked’ living out the buddingdesigner. The are same devioustypes of pleats by hand usingmethods like furl, crimp, tuckeven plisse smoking, shirring oneof many other specialist termsrela�on specifically tomanipula�on on fabric inindustry this is usually done .

For this I havecreated folds on the paper andthem on the organdi fabric in mycrea�on I have used mountain &valley shapes V form. In this Vform each panel heavily samesize. I was also inspired byorigami art so I chose themountain & valley pa�ern
