The Outokumpu flotation concept

Flexible solution for a variety of applicationsThe Outokumpu TankCell® fl otation units are a fl exible solution for diverse applications of rougher, scavenger and cleaner fl otation. The widest range of cell sizes available allows adjusting to manifold production rates. Mixing, aeration and froth handling are designed case by case to best fi t the feed material and application in question.

Flotation mechanisms are designed to match different feed materials, from ultrafi nes to coarse particles. Froth collecting is tailored according to froth characteristics, whether strong or fragile, viscous or fl uid. In addition, air consumption is optimized for each application.

TankCell® units enable fast start-up under a full load. They are easy to operate and run without sanding.
