Award winning jeweller, Tania Clarke Hall set up her studio 6 years ago having returned to university to study jewellery after a successful career in business information working and living in Paris and London.

Tania challenges the way in which leather is used within jewellery. She goes beyond the predictable; burning, colouring, slashing and moulding the cut edge to create graphic, sculptural pieces.

Her love of architecture, Japanese design and an earlier degree in chemistry have fuelled her passion for and provided her with a fresh, intelligent perspective on jewellery design.

Working from her studio close to London’s historic jewellery quarter, she is widely recognised for her playful, experimental approach and bold, elegant, highly wearable pieces.

Tania Clarke Hall’s jewellery is innovative, sculptural and bold. Flashes of colour highlight hand-cut, twisted and moulded leather forms so that flat pieces of leather playfully transform into multidimensional necklaces. Regarding leather as her ‘perfect creative playmate’ Tania produces confident,eye-catching and versatile pieces. Her designs are driven by a love of experimentation and her desire to challenge the way in which leather is used in jewellery. Her inspiration is eclectic: the Japanese aesthetic of wabi sabi, the beauty of geometric solutions and tribal jewellery.
