The metanarrative of Scripture is no exception to good storytelling. And though we are living through it, we have the benefit of knowing the end.

ZebulunHe will be near the sea and be a haven for ships with his borders extending to the major Phoenician seaport of Sidon.

OLD TESTAMENT Section 3.5
The Ten Commandments
The Flip Side of the CoinThe Ten Commandments are full of don’ts—but every one
of them has a positive side, too. 1. Don’t have any other
gods before the Lord. 2. Don’t make any images
of the Lord. 3. Don’t use the Lord’s
name in an empty way. 4. Set aside one day a
week to rest. 5. Honor your parents. 6. Don’t murder. 7. Don’t commit adultery. 8. Don’t steal. 9. Don’t lie.10. Don’t want things you’re
not supposed to have.
1. Put God first.
2. Worship God the way He says to worship Him.
3. Use God’s name respectfully and fearfully.
(Commandments 4 and 5 are already positive.)
6. Protect life. 7. Be faithful to your spouse. 8. Respect others’ property. 9. Tell the truth. 10. Set your heart on things
that are truly valuable. God surely means for us to practice the positives, not just
avoid the negatives.
