• In the Centre, Cargotec's Kalmar business area focuses on the development of energy-

• In the years 2011-2013, Cargotec has invested approximately EUR 35 million in the

factory (2013)

expand its diesel engine production

plant located in the town of Nokia

in the Tampere Region.

• The investment increases the

annual production capacity of the

factory from 38,000 to 50,000

business (2013/2014)

• Microsoft will acquire Nokia’s device

business for USD 7.17 billion

(EUR 5.44 billion).

• Nokia has the biggest R&D center

for Lumia development in Tampere.

• When the transaction is approved in

the 1st half of 2014 it is estimated

that about 1000 professionals in
