JOINT EFFORT: The team that gave their 67 minutes to Angels Baby Sanctuary.

This past week I watched three documen-taries based on South African artists: Pi-eter van Der Westhuizen (Chickens Can Fly), Norman Catherine (Light and Dark) and Beezy Bailey (Outsider). They form a series showcasing artists in the pre-apartheid, apartheid and post-apartheid eras.Strangely enough, I found Norman Cath-erine’s work the most appealing. I say strangely enough as he has a much darker side than the other two. A lot of his work was protest art and had political reference. I love the bright colours Catherine uses and even his pieces are now very appealing to me.I will admit before I watched these films I nev-er knew of these artists and that is why I think these types of documentaries are great; and more need to be made, as they are feeding their audiences knowledge as well as telling the artist’s stories. If I did not know about these artists that come from my home country, how many other South Africans also do not know about them? When you hear each of their stories, you realise we should know about them. They are doing amazing work, but do not get the recognition they deserve.Watching these films re-ignited my passion for film-making. Many of you may not know this, but I studied Live Performance at AFDA and graduated with Honours in 2004. The acting road never took off for me; however, my love for writing emerged and whether I am acting or writing, I am still telling a story and, as one of my fridge magnets says, “She loved to tell stories” and I do.My former passion was ignited. This does not mean I want to go down the acting road again, but I am going to make a concerted effort to engage in a passion that makes my heart and soul smile.Thank God for blessing us humans with cre-ative talent.

For years now residents who need to open cases at Booysens SAPS have had to park on the pavements along Nelson Road. At times the pavements are full and parking at the garage opposite the police station is the only option. However, thanks to Nicky Vakaloudis, CEO of South of Johannesburg Tourism and Business Forum (SOJO), proper parking bays are now being constructed in Nelson Road by the Johannesburg Roads Agency (JRA).“After 15 years of requesting for this to be done, it is finally happening,” Vakaloudis said. She explained that the JRA and the City of Johannesburg are already busy upgrading the Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) system and pedestrian walkways and, because of this, she reminded them about the request for parking bays and it was approved. Not only have Booysens SAPS management welcomed the new parking bays, but so have the volunteer parking attendants.

After enquiring from tame TIMES who was responsible for the construction of the parking bays, they replied, “Thank you, now we can park cars nicely.”W/O Lorraine Van Emmerick, Booysens SAPS spokeswoman explained, “This will make things easier as cars won’t have to park in front of the station in Booysens Road. We welcome this.” It is illegal to park in Booysens Road; however, the police station allowed it while the parking bays were being constructed. When tame TIMES visited the police station, new street signage had been erected and JRA employees were laying the tar for the first parking bay. Vakaloudis said she would monitor the project until there were parking bays all the way along Nelson Road from that point to the end of the police station. The community owes a debt of gratitude to SOJO and Vakaloudis for making Booysens SAPS more accessible.

Booysens SAPS finally has parking

The City of Johannesburg has adopted its first Non-Motorist Transport Framework (NMT) to guide the planning of car-free areas such as cycle lanes and sidewalks.A feasibility study has already been done on improving pedestrian access to the Rea Vaya Bus Rapid Transport (BRT) stations by the Joburg Development Agency (JDA) and development started during May for the Booysens area, with Mentz Street as the pilot street. It has been reported, however, that businesses and the project contractors are at loggerheads over certain issues.

According to SOJO’s Vakaloudis, neither business nor SOJO were engaged about their expectations of the development. Some of the issues that have emerged so far are:• Parking bays have been removed because no inspections were done before the new development framework plan was designed.• Water drainage channels for some businesses were buried in concrete during the pavement construction.• Business entrances have been blocked by the new pavement kerbs.• There are huge delays in the completion of each street while contractors start on the next one.

Affected streets in Booysens: Mentz, Frazer, Koster, Ophir Booysens, Spring and EarpAffected streets in Booysens Reserve:

5th, 2nd, 1st, 4th, Patinum, Diamond and Crown Wood.In order to prevent further disruption of business by the BRT project, SOJO urges business-owners to communicate with them about any problems they experience as a result of the pavement project. SOJO will facilitate communication between them and the City, and share information as required to prevent any further negative impact on the business area as a whole.

ConsumerThe Consumer Protection Act has given SA consumers many new rights, and more power, when it comes to taking on suppliers over poor services or defective goods. But when is it worth actually pursuing a complaint through the Ombudsman and is it better than going to court? Consumer Goods and Services Ombudsman Adv. Neville Melville explains. The new mobile phone you have just bought stops working and the company refuses to replace it, or the furniture you paid for was never delivered. In the past you would have needed to go to a court of law for justice, but the Consumer Goods and Services Ombud (CGSO) now provides a forum to resolve complaints quickly and affordably. Dissatisfied customers can approach the CGSO, which will investigate the matter further and try to mediate a solution between all the parties involved. If no agreement can be reached, a formal mediation takes place, at which the parties are invited to put forward their cases and a mediator tries to facilitate a mutually acceptable settlement. “We’re able to facilitate over the phone and provide written assessments recommending how the matter should be settled,” adds Melville. He says the size of financial losses is not the only deciding factor that drives people to take a complaint further: “We’ve had claims for millions of rands, but also complaints about something as small as a litre of milk. Some consumers feel they should formalise a complaint simply out of principle – and we

are happy to assist in almost all cases.”

Cheaper, fasterThe benefits of seeking a solution through an ombud versus through the courts is that consumers are likely to get a faster resolution. The average age of cases closed by the CGSO is 16 days, while the average age of open cases is 74 days. “The best result we had was from a clothing retailer who agreed to a settlement within two hours of the CGSO sending the complaint through,” says Melville. “Compare that to the court system, which is both expensive and time-consuming and where you may wait years for a settlement.”He says not all cases submitted to the CGSO involve monetary compensation – some complainants simply want what they see as fair – such as an apology or the system to be improved. Melville points out that evidence lies at the heart of informal dispute resolution. “The type of evidence you would need to build your case would include a till slip or proof of purchase, a high definition photo of the alleged defect or a copy of the brochure that the special was advertised in, for example,” he explains. “If it is a case of food poisoning, you would need to preserve the suspect food item and hand over to one of the health authorities listed on the CGSO website for testing.”Expert witnesses from a panel of experts may be called in if necessary and inspectors may be appointed. “In the past we have outsourced the inspection of cracked

television screens to determine whether it was a factory fault or the result of an over-enthusiastic Wi player,” says Melville. In another case, a jeweller was consulted to determine the cause of damages to a valuable necklace and in other cases items can be sent off to the South African Bureau of Standards to check whether goods are up to standard. “Factors that would not be considered relevant during mediation include how many other complaints the company has listed against them on websites such as Hello Peter; how shocked, appalled or distressed or emotional the complainant was; or comparison to similar products.”The findings of the CGSO are not binding on either party, but if the issue is not resolved by the ombudsman, parties are informed of their right to approach the National Consumer Commission. The vast majority of complaints, however, are resolved at the Ombud level. “While we cannot award damages, we can persuade a supplier to do so,” adds Melville. “But if a soda bottle explodes and injures someone, as has been reported elsewhere in the world, and they want R1 million, we would suggest they go to court,” explains Melville. The benefits of resolving the issue outside of court, however, are obvious. Concludes Melville: “Mediation is free and less intimidating than a court of law; you do not require legal representation; and you’re far more likely to come out with a win-win solution.”

Consumer Ombudsman cheaper than court

The DA will submit questions to the Minister of Justice and Correctional Services, Michael Masutha, and the Minister of Transport, Dipuo Peters, to determine the full extent of the NPA’s assignment of two prosecutors to investigate whether the conduct of some motorists constitutes an offence. They will specifically inquire into whether SANRAL unilaterally requested this involvement.“The DA is concerned by this latest development, specifically given the changing context of the e-tolling debate. Just last week, Gauteng Premier David Makhura, announced a so-called ‘review’ of the e-tolling project,” Manny de Freitas MP, Shadow Minister of Transport said. The DA has made it clear that it will seek to amend the national legislation in Parliament. This development is important in light of the ANC’s rethinking of the controversial project.“Surely it would have made better sense to only make such an assignment after the supposed review was complete, and all parliamentary processes initiated by the DA were finalised?” De Freitas asked.

By Nieto HerNaNdezLast Saturday morning, roughly at 2am, we noticed our lights going on and off and the cordless phone beeping inexplicably. I got up and realised that there was something wrong with the electricity. I thought it might have been one of Eskom’s typical load shedding times and decided to go back to bed and check first thing at 6am.I realised that something was definitely wrong when some lights were very dim and the telephone and alarm system were no longer working properly. I called City Power on 011 375 5555 and waited for half an hour without any response (I thought it was a 24-hour line). I tried again after 8am, with no response. I decided to call Clr Dos Santos. He said there were a few requests for assistance from this area already and he would assist by getting

the relevant people involved to look into the matter even though he had other prior arrangements. I was not expecting him to assist as these particular issues are not within his scope of responsibility; at least that is what I believe: the primary responsibility is City Power’s and they were not even bothering to respond to my calls.I called Clr Dos Santos later and asked him if there was feedback. He told me that they (Eskom/City Power) would attend to the problem between 13:00 and 14:00, as they were inundated with work. At roughly 14:30, our power was restored. On behalf of my family and our neighbours, I want to thank Clr Dos Santos from the bottom of our hearts. People like him give “67 minutes” of their time all the time, it seems.

I am a 16-year-old grade 11 student from Waterstone College and recently I had to do a two day job-shadowing assignment for school.I chose tame TIMES newspaper specifically because they are based in my area and they contribute so much to my community. There is a lot of hard work that goes on behind the local newspaper we all know. It is very busy and there is not one moment that passes by when someone is not doing something in order to conect with the community. My experience at tame TIMES was an eye-opener. It expanded my knowledge of the path that I would some day like to go into.Getting to spend time with everyone who plans the newspaper was

interesting as there are so many thoughts and ideas that go behind a classic newspaper. I got to experience Mandela Day in a very different way. We went to Resthaven Baby Sanctuary and seeing so many people

contributing their time to a good cause was touching and put a smile on my face. Seeing and getting to hold

the babies was heart-warming because they had gotten something that they are not

given much of.I would like to thank everybody

for making me feel welcome and for giving me more positivity and optimism about this career choice.

My experience at tame TIMESBy Kerienne Chhiba

JOB-SHADOWER: Kerienne Chhiba with a child from Resthaven Baby Sanctuary

When you look at people who are successful, you will find that they aren’t the people who are motivated, but have consistency in their motivation – Arsene WengerOver the past week the world celebrated the legacy left behind by Tata Nelson Mandela. Mandela will forever be remembered for the stance he took upon his release from prison after serving 27 years of his life sentence for political reasons. Madiba returned from his Robben Island cell preaching reconciliation and nation building, a message which he took to the highest office in the land an even to the rest of the world. Mandela did not only speak the ideals he sought to inspire the world towards, but he lived them and that is perhaps the most important element of his legacy; not only was he a thought leader, he was also a leader in the doing.Looking at us now as a country, people who had this great man walking in such close proximity; it becomes amazingly confusing that we on a daily base have to be content with bad service (and sometimes no service). It is all well and good for us to take a day off during the year to live the example left behind by the great man, but I honestly feel we under benefit from his teachings when on every other day we sleep at our posts. I believe that it does not matter whether one is a doctor a postman, a security guard or even a minister of some government department – what really creates value is the service one affords all whom they come into contact with.It is good, but it is not enough for us to support charity only on the July 18. If you take some time and speak to administrators of many non-profit organisations, you will find that many are not even equipped to manage the sudden influx of donations and service requests – many would prefer the more systematic and consistent nature of support via pledges of financial contributions or time. So what am I saying? Even when we think we are doing good we may not necessarily doing best.Service to the next person be it a charitable gesture, or even an act dictated by your office must be considered (you have to decide that this is how you are going to serve) and it must be consistent otherwise your contribution will be soon forgotten – the world remembers Mandela.

tHe suBstaNce of service is coNsisteNcy

Resthaven Baby Sanctuary was inundated with Madiba blessings when several groups visited them last Friday.Environmental Health, City of Johannesburg (CoJ) and Early Childhood Development (ECD) Forum, Southern District worked together and assisted the home for abandoned babies with pest control, health promotions, and various items on their wish list, as well as contacting Rosettenville Clinic to make sure the babies’ clinic cards were up to date. Gifts were also presented to the house mother, as well as the care-takers.Shalin Bidassey, CoJ Environmental Health practitioner, explained that they chose Resthaven Baby Sanctuary as they deal with the non-profit organisation often. “We would like to thank Spar Kenilworth for

their sponsorship of the items we donated,” Bidassey said.ANC Youth League members as well as University of Johannesburg learners also did their 67 minutes at the home in Rosettenville.Shahieda Goliath, Resthaven Baby Sanctuary’s house-mother, told tame TIMES, “This is a blessing, however we wish that people would commit to help us every month and not just on Mandela Day; whether it be R67 in our bank account or even spending time with the children. As much as we are grateful for the formula and baby nappies, they will only last until the end of August.”ANC Youth members threw a party for the two children at the home whose birthday fell on 18 July and will be adopting the home as their charity of choice.

Mondeor SAPS is concerned about the growing number of street robberies in the area. As most of these crime victims are followed from banks, the community is requested not to withdraw large sums of money but rather to do electronic transfers. Members of the community are also requested not to wear ear-pieces as this informs criminals that they are carrying cellphones.

It has come to the attention of Booysens SAPS that many domestic workers are not being informed about what is happening at their place of employment. This month numerous cases of house robberies were reported in which the domestic worker allowed the suspects on to the premises after being told by them that they were there to do work on the house.Home-owners must inform their domestic workers if they have made arrangements for builders, plumber and so forth to work at their premises. Home-owners must also instruct their domestic workers not to allow anyone on to their premises without their permission. Domestic workers must always contact home-owners personally before allowing anyone on to their premises. There have been cases in which the suspect pretends to phone the home-owner and talk to him or her, and the domestic worker mistakenly believes that the suspect has spoken to the home-owner, without confirming this personally.W/O Joubert can be contacted during office hours on 011 433 5200.

For the first time in the history of the Savanna Comic’s Choice Awards® (CCA), South Africa’s comedy-loving community will know ahead of the show who will be performing on the night. Not only will six awards be handed out to SA’s top comedians, but there will also be comedy to remember. Prepare to be hit by a whirlwind of delight, surprise, hysterics and that kind of squirm-in-your-seat discomfort that only perfectly timed sharp comebacks can deliver. Now in its fourth year, this year’s variety show is themed The Point of Funny and promises to deliver the most laughs yet. Each skit will be delivered by the talented and somewhat eclectic cast that includes well-known names like: Jack Parow, Rhys Woods, Nik Rabinowitz, Robby Collins, Chris Steenkamp, Pule, Debora Patta, Gilé Motshwane, Loyiso Gola, KG, Deep Fried Man, Tats Nkonzo, Bevan Cullinan and Riaad Moosa.Barry Hilton, Khanyi Mbau and Darrel Bristow-Bovey are some of the presenters, with three more high-profile names to be announced soon. The event format is simple and will specifically exclude any dull or boring speeches. future of comedy in SA, we push to find new ways to use The Teatro at Montecasino through technology and execution. Last year, we pushed the physical boundaries of the building, and augmented reality with graphics – this year, we are focused on the funniest possible night we can, with a few bells and whistles chucked in for fun,” say co-directors, Dani Hynes and John Vlismas. The Savanna CCA ceremony will take place at The Teatro at Montecasino on 2 August. Singer-songwriter James Blunt will be performing his Moon Landing concerts at the Carnival City Big Top Arena on 14 and 15 February next year. Big Concerts and Carnival City are urging eager Blunt fans to book their tickets quickly to avoid missing the mega-star’s live performance.James Blunt originally captured the hearts of hopeless romantics the world over with his debut album Back to Bedlam. Two of his most popular songs come from this album: You’re Beautiful and Goodbye My Lover. The album sold over 11 million copies worldwide, topping the UK Albums Chart and peaking at number two in the US. Moon Landing is Blunt’s fourth album and a follow-up on his 2010 Some Kind of Trouble. His first new album in three years, it can be described as raw, direct and emotionally honest. The album features production from the likes of Steve Mac, Guy Chambers and Steve Robson and was executively produced by Tom Rothrock, who worked with Blunt on the 2005 Back to Bedlam. His latest singles Bonfire Heart and Postcards are climbing the international and local charts, proving to be another two big hits. Fans will be treated to songs from this album and Blunt’s earlier albums in an intimate setting. Tickets to the two Gauteng shows went

on sale on Tuesday 8 July. According to Carnival City’s Entertainment Manager, Jaco Saayman, tickets are selling like hot cakes and he urges Blunt fans to secure their seats soon. Tickets are available via www.bigconcerts.com and vary in price from R395 to R735. The shows at the Big Top Arena are two of only three shows Blunt will do while in South Africa. The first show takes place at Grand West’s Grand Arena on 12 February 2015. Blunt’s Moon Landing tour in South Africa is presented by KFM and M-Net.

Dawn of the Planet of the Apes (now showing at Ster Kinekor Southgate, as well as other Ster Kinekor branches) is an enthralling science fiction film directed by Matt Reeves and starring Andy Serkis, Jason Clarke, Gary Oldman and Keri Russell. The Sequel to 2011’s franchise reboot, Rise of the Planet of the Apes, picks up ten years after the events of its predecessor. With most of the human race obliterated due to a deadly virus that apes are immune to, Caesar is living peacefully with his family and crowd of ape revolutionaries. However, the arrival of a small group of human survivors looking to ensure their survival challenges everything Caesar and his followers have fought to achieve.Under a terrifying sci-fi premise, the film manages to become a challenging, intense,

emotional experience that is well worth two hours out of a weekend. Choosing moral complexity over blockbuster spectacle, this film is separated from its big budget competition by its depth of story and character. But, after the engaging characters and thrilling plot, the main triumph of the film is its innovations in performance capture technologies, resulting in one of Serkis’s most exhilarating performances. Despite the operatic action sequences and breath-taking effects, it is still possible to find fault with the film, particularly with Gary Oldman’s character and his seemingly generic backstory. However, an assured story with a mature ending and relatable characters makes Dawn the best sci-fi blockbuster currently showing at cinemas.

Are you feeling a little blue after a long week at work? Try looking on the bright side of life: Monty Python’s Spamalot has just opened at the Joburg Theatre and is sure to put a smile on your face.Monty Python’s Spamalot is a musical comedy “lovingly ripped off from” the 1975 film Monty Python and the Holy Grail. As with the source material, it is an irreverent retelling of the Arthurian Legend. The original production which ran on Broadway in 2005 won three Tony Awards, including Best Musical in the 2004 – 2005 season, as well as receiving 14 other Tony Nominations. The tone is set early on, when a miscommunication between the narrator and cast results in a group of Finnish villagers singing “The Fisch Schlapping Song.”As the show begins in earnest, we join King Arthur (Norman Anstey) and his knights in their quest for the Holy Grail. Along the way they come up against killer rabbits, the knights that say “Ni” and, worst of all, French people.

Spamalot’s musical numbers are hilarious with songs such as I’m Not Dead Yet (sung by Not Dead Fred), and Whatever Happened to My Part, by the Lady of the Lake, as well as the very catchy Always Look OnThe Bright Side Of Life. The jokes fly fast and furious around the stage, and due to Eric Idles writing, younger theatre-goers do not need to have much knowledge of Monty Python’s body of work to enjoy this production. Director Simon James and the cast, including Eric Idle in a “limited season only” role as God, do a brilliant job of bringing the Pythons humour to Johannesburg, and Spamalot is wholeheartedly recommended to anyone looking for an evening out and a good laugh.Monty Python’s Spamalot runs on the Mandela Stage at the Joburg Theatre from 11 July until 10 August. Tickets cost from R180 to R300 and can be purchased by visiting www.joburgtheatre.com or calling 0861 670 670. Performances are Tuesdays to Fridays at 20:00, Saturdays at 17:00 and 20:30, and Sundays at 14:00.

The much awaited LPL auction evening took place recently on the 50th floor of Carlton Centre, the tallest building in Johannesburg and Africa. The evening was hosted by Jateen Nana and kicked off with the introduction of the LPL’s Board of Governance which includes, Yusuf Dinath, Ali Osmany and Clive Eksteen. A number of big-name players from all around the province went under the hammer during the 5th edition of the LPL Auction evening. Each of the six franchises was allowed to retain six players in a retention phase, after which the 30-minute transfer window was entered into, and then the much anticipated auction. With the LPL being a 20 -over format, it is assumed that it must be a batsman’s game, hence all eyes were on the big hitters of the game, players who have the ability to change the shape of a match in an instant. The teams seemed to be well prepared and took calculated risks as the five franchises began their plot to dethrone the current champions, the Bank All Stars. Teams had a budget of R2 million each in which they attempted to outwit each other and acquire a squad of 20 players which would include two u/19 players.

BANk ALL STArSThe All Stars were well prepared, knew exactly what they wanted and broke the bank with a record purchase for the young 17-year-old star Delano Potgieter. The All Stars spent R1,395 million for the Alberton youngster’s signature.

CrESCENT HAwkSThis may be the year that fans will finally see the awakening of the LPL’s sleeping giant, as the Crescent Hawks assembled a very powerful squad. Under the new ownership of Solly Mangera, Aslam Wadee and Iqbal Dindar did everything in their power to gain the services of Highveld Lions stars Shaylan

Pillay and Goolam Bodi.

SPOrTiNG SuPErmENWith new owners at the helm, Juan LeMaitre and Ryan Colyn have built a hugely impressive squad around the likes of Hardus Viljoen, Imraan Manack, Stef Le Roux, Devan Conway, Yusuf Jajbhay, David Rhoda and Dwayne Pretorius. With such an abundance of talent at their disposal, this is undoubtedly the strongest the Supermen have ever been.

CAvALiEr CATSWith a pace attack second to none, the Cavalier Cats will look to destroy all before them with their speed. Their attack boasts former South African fast bowlers Garnett Kruger and Monde Zondeki. In the batting department, they have Khalid Mutusamy and the young u/19 prodigy Siddique Mohamed.

SHAkTi TiGErSD.K. Daya and the SA u/19 head coach Lawrence Mahatlane will continue with their policy of nurturing young players, as they will look to Ziyaad Asvat, Malcom Nofal, Stevelen Jacobs, Sushil Parboo and Lazarus Mokoena to match the efforts of their spectacular first season. The LPL’s player of the year for 2013, Justin Loyd, has been asked to lead the Tigers for the first time.

TASmANiAN DEviLSSA u/19 player Marcus Ackerman and u/19 World Cup Champion Yaseen Valley will be looking to make their mark. The Devils attack will be spear-headed by Yadene Singh and Matt Arnold with their under- study Dewaal Patel following suit. South African A players Dominique Hendriks and Mangaliso Moshehle make this Devils team a well- balanced unit. New owners Neil Levinson and Anton Durant will be looking to make the Devils a powerful force in the LPL. For a full squad list visit www.lenasiapremierleague.com.

The 2014 South African Mountain Biking Cross- Country( XCO) and Downhill Championships were held at Thaba Trails this past weekend with a record field of entries: 233 for XCO and 31 for downhill (based on online entries). Even talk on the ground between competitors was that they had never seen so many people compete and so many spectators. The XCO took place on Saturday and the Downhill on Sunday. Rourke Croeser (Kargo Pro MTB Team) claimed the 2014 South African Cross-country National Championship Elite men’s title in a time of 1 hour 32 minutes and 29 seconds. Second place went to Matthys Beukes 01:36:57 and third place James Reid 01:38:06. The Elite men completed 6 laps of the 4.5km dusty and rocky track.Croeser said this was his greatest achievement to date, “I’ve won every title since racing in the Sprog category, but being the Elite champ is being the champion of the country. I can wear this jersey on my shoulders with great pride. This is the greatest achievement to win.”Mariske Strauss (Orange Monkey Pro Team) was also smiling ear to ear when she put in a dominant performance to claim the 2014 South African Cross-country National

Championship Elite women’s title in a time of 1 hour 35 minutes and 35 seconds. She achieved this even after taking a tumble in the rock garden. The Elite women completed 5 laps. Strauss felt that racing in this event was a nice opener for her for the Commonwealth Games. Cherie Vale (Paarl Media) claimed the silver medal in a time of 01:39:10, while Candice Neethling (Time Freight VELOlife) claimed bronze in 01:40:40. The Downhill Championships was also highly contested but defending Champion, Tiaan Odendaal, took his third consecutive Elite men’s title with a time of 1 minute: 57 seconds.More talk on the ground showed that many riders welcomed the champions at Thaba Trails rather than Pietermaritzburg Cascades MTB park, saying that different riders should be given a chance to win rather than the local boys who practise at their home grounds at Cascades; but, on the other hand, some riders felt Thaba Trails was too dusty.Nevertheless Thaba Trails did an excellent job and Cycling South Africa extends a big thanks of thank you to Wendell Bole and his entire team at Thaba Trails, for preparing the superb and challenging course and for hosting the event. tame TIMES would like to commend Bole and the Thaba Trails team for bringing such a big event to the South and showcasing what we have to offer.
