Tam Tam was a baby squirrel. He liked eating candy more than anyone else in his family.

One day, Tam Tam asked his mother if he could go to buysome candy. His mother did not let him go, because the candystore was so far from home. His mother was afraid that TamTam might get hurt along the way.

A moment later, Tam Tam decided to go to buy candy withoutletting his mother know.

He invited his friend Mab to go with him, but Mab said nobecause he was afraid that his mother would be angry withhim.

Tam Tam decided to go alone.

Along the way, another baby squirrel came out of nowhereriding a bike and hit Tam Tam.

Later, Tam Tam’s mother was looking for Tam Tam, but shecould not find him at home.

She then saw Tam Tam walking back home. She asked, “Whereare you coming from, dear? Why are you crying?”

Tam Tam told his mother about the accident. His mothercomforted him and told him to follow her advice next time.

Tam Tam realized his mistake and promised his mother tobehave in the future.
