Lost episode now discovered for the first time. The crime drama series focussed on a team of forensic scientists working for the Department of Forensic Medicine. The team was headed up by Professor Lazard who also worked closely with Dr Ruth Colton and Dr Henry Fox. One of the first such series to cover forensic medicine in a crime drama setting. Join Caroline Munro at ‘The Cellar Club’. In this weeks first film, we are showing 1955 Hammer filmThe Quatermass Experiment, the film was based on the successful BBC series. This has an excellent cast, Brian Donlevy as the obsessed scientist, Jack Warner Thora Hird and Lionel Jeffries.

Our next film is a haunting tale of a mermaid - NightTide (1961) and starring Dennis Hopper in a pre Easy Rider  role. You get the real feeling of eerie desolateness’

and perhaps most of all loneliness, Hopper gives a great performance.

We finish tonight with a good little horror The Bat made in 1959 starring horror supremo Vincent Price  and Agnes Morehead, what’s not to love?

The point of furtherest Allied advance is the town of Arnhem, held by the British 1st Airborne Division. This is its story.

Tom Rath commutes to work every day in Manhattan. He’s happily married and has a loving wife and three children. Money is a bit tight and when the opportunity arises, he applies for a public relations job with a major television network. During his long commute to work everyday, Tom reminisces about the war. Although 10 years have gone by, he is still haunted by the violence and the men he killed. He also thinks of Maria, an Italian girl with whom he had an affair while stationed in Rome.
