A: People can call the kitchen at 570-342-
5556, ext. 4, to pick up a coupon; email the
kitchen at [email protected], and have
the coupon emailed back to them; or access
the coupon on our Facebook page: St.
Francis of Assisi Kitchen.
Q: Is there a minimum to spend?
A: There is no minimum needed to use the coupon. It can also be used at any time of
the day.
Q: How did you choose the restaurant?
A: We have done this fundraiser with them before, and it was very successful.
Q: How will proceeds be used?
A: It will benefit St. Francis Commons, a 30-unit transitional apartment complex for
homeless veterans. It will open next to St. Francis Kitchen next spring. It is a project of
Catholic Social Services of the Diocese of Scranton.
Q: Why is this fundraiser important to the community?
A: There are so many people in our community who are fighting to make ends meet and
don't have enough money to purchase food. This fundraiser helps St. Francis of Assisi
Kitchen feed those who are in need of a meal.
