    introduced in TAM 9.1 is the

    interviewing scheduling integrated

    with Microsoft Outlook.

    There are two levels of Calendar

    integration that can be achieved:

    Full Calendar Integration

    this relies completely on

    MS Outlook for Interview

    Scheduling

    Partial Calendar Integration

    This provides one-way

    scheduling using iCalendar

    appointments

    Here Talent Acquisition Manager, uses the PS Enterprise Desktop Integration framework to pass interview

    data to MS Outlook, and to receive updated information from MS Outlook into PeopleSoft.

    as other interested parties by entering the email ids

    in the To, Cc and Bcc sections

    The email body text can be composed and alsorelated Job offer documents can be attached and

    Link to Offer Letter While preparing an applicant for hire,

    users now have the option to forward the

    Offer letter to HR. When this option is selected, HR is

    provided access to a link to view the Offer

    letter on the Manage Hires Detail page The Check box appears only if the

    applicable Hire type has been configured to

    send the Offer Letter to the HR System.

    This is done through the Data Transfer to

    HR Setup.

    Pre-Screening of Applicants Prescreening introduces the capability toautomatically filter out unqualified applicants

    before they reach the point of completing the

    online application form

    Prescreening is entirely questionnaire based-it

    can contain one or more multiple choice

    questions

    In order to enable pre-screening, enable the

    Prescreening template definition specifying the

    actions to be taken if an applicant passes / fails

    the pre-screening.

    Questions can be selected these will bepresented to the applicant before he fills the job

    application form

    When the applicant applies for the Job

    opening, he is presented with the Job description

    On viewing the Job description, the applicant

    decides to apply for the job and hits the Apply

    Now button.

    The resume options enables the applicant to

    upload his resume in text or document format.

    On continuing the application process, the

    applicant is presented with the pre-screening

    questions that have been included as part of the

    screening process.

    Once the applicant responds to the pre-

    screening questions, his responses are

    immediately evaluated by the system

    Online Screening of Applicants The online screening process helps in filteringout unqualified applicants after they complete

    their job application

    This is not applicable to applicants who apply

    without selecting a job

    The screening results are published as soon

    as the applicant submits his application

    The results are published for each application

    submitted(multiple jobs).

    The disposition that is indicated in the

    screening level definition is assigned to the

    applicant.

    Oracle delivers a Reject Online Screening

    disposition to use for applicants who fail

    prescreening

    With 9.1, you can now define open ended

    screening questions that can be evaluated by

    recruiters.

    While defining a question, select the OpenEnded Question check box to classify the

    question as open-ended.

    When the applicant applies for the job, he

    needs to provide a descriptive answer to this

    screening question within the limit of characters

    specified

    Once the answers are submitted, the open

    ended questions are evaluated by one or more

    evaluators

    Evaluators use self service to evaluate these

    answers and manually enter a score for each

    response.

    The evaluators do not have any information

    on the job opening nor the applicant during the

    evaluation process

    The evaluator assigns evaluation points to the

    answer and submits his evaluation through self

    service

    If there are multiple evaluators, then the

    applicant score is taken as the average of all the

    evaluations submitted in the system.

    In such cases, points are assigned to each
