Travelling by coach has never been more comfortable than it is today. This has mainly to do with the quality of the seats. The only way your passengers will be able to sit back and enjoy their trip is if the seats are designed to ergonomic perfection and for many years of use – be it on an extended luxury tour or a short trip through the city.

Setra’s uncompromisingly high standard also applies when it comes to seats. It enables passengers on board your Setra coach to enjoy a uniquely comfortable and safe experience on the road – while providing you as an entrepreneur with the utmost in economy, reliability and individuality.

As a result, it makes perfect sense that we manufacture our seats in our own production facilities – something almost no other coach or bus producer undertakes. With an experienced staff and in accordance with our own quality standards, from sturdy scheduled service seats to luxury reclining seats. This not only makes us one of the biggest seat manufacturers, with several hundred thousand seats produced every year, but it also allows us to further develop all materials on an ongoing basis to suit the requirements of our customers.

Setra seats offer you high-level comfort and ergonomic design, a whole range of excellent ideas, e.g. with regard to operation, and close to limitless opportunities to adapt the seat to precisely suit your requirements.

Blended Leather Composition: extremely durable.High-quality fabrics and designs beautifully reflect Setra’s high standard. Over and above the many different fabric and synthetic leather options, you can also go for the innovative “Composition”: a fascinating, state-of-the-art upholstery material made of a natural leather material. Composition is remarkably similar to leather in feel, scent, appearance and seating comfort. It is also highly durable, abrasion-resistant and extremely easy to clean. Thanks to its low weight, Composition can even make your coach up to 50 kilograms lighter – compared to genuine leather.

Seating comfort in series.Suspension cushions, high seat backs, foam elements for the seat’s surface and back, and last but not least, enhanced leg room, all contribute to more comfort and ergonomic wellbeing. The backrest is extremely sturdy and vibration-free. Longitudinal upholstering keeps wear and tear to a minimum.

High-level operating comfort.The seat frames excel with their innovative patented operation. It is possible to adjust the seat’s back and lateral position just as intuitively and easily as the clever armrests, which can be folded up or down with absolute simplicity. All seats are also optimised in terms of weight, which has a positive impact on the total weight and therefore on the economy of the vehicle.

Countless opportunities for variation.We offer you two basic versions of coach seat: the Setra Voyage touring seat and the Setra Route overland seat. The standard version comes equipped with all major features, making it possible to adapt precisely to your requirements with numerous options. This way, you get only what you actually need – a definite plus when it comes to economy.

Cinema/sliding seat combination. A quick and easy solution for creating space for a stroller or baby carriage: by lifting up the cinema seat cushion and tilting the sliding seat forward, room can be created for a stroller on the platform (image to the left). Space for a wheelchair or stroller: In the overland buses, you can have four individual folding seats installed on request. When they are folded up, there is more space available for strollers or wheelchairs. The folding seats are equipped with lap belts as standard features (image to the right).

The more precisely your coach meets your special requirements, the more cost-effective it will be. Whether you wish to enhance functionality or comfort in your coaches, or whether you would like to equip an entire fleet or a single coach with special seating, our specialists master these challenges with commitment and expertise.

For instance, how about a club corner, which is just as attractive for casual business get-togethers as for a relaxed game of cards? We can offer solutions for six, eight or ten seats, and with standard all the way through to premium equipment. In combination with matching special fittings such as a mini-bar or built-in cabinets, the possibilities are fascinating. Thanks to special track systems, our coaches can be returned to their standard seating configuration

at any time without damage – which represents a real plus when it comes to selling your coach.

We apply as much creativity when it comes to designing your coaches for barrier-free access. Comfortable cinema seats and sliding seats are smart solutions, just like the easily removable quick-release seats, if you wish to temporarily incorporate space for a wheelchair or baby carriage. And, for the standing space in service buses, we offer four face-to-face folding seats.

The Setra Voyage, as standard equipment, offers you everything required for relaxed seating. For example, seat back adjustment, lateral adjustment, integrated grips or the new, patented Setra armrest: with a single action it disappears to the side below the seat without blocking the aisle.

Grammer driver’s seat. Intelligent technology, ideally positioned controls and a series of first-class ergonomic features rank among the outstanding characteristics of this high-quality driver’s seat. The Grammer seat – standard equipment on almost all Setra coaches – supports the driver perfectly.

Driver's and attendant's seats.An ergonomically designed driver’s seat minimises tension and strain, promotes mobility and ensures that the driver can concentrate on the road without fatigue. This is why Setra makes sure that driver’s seats provide ideal support to drivers as they carry out their very responsible tasks.

All driver’s seats feature a powerful anti-vibration system and can be set to suit the driver’s body contours with just a few easy adjustments. And it is possible to individualise the seats in many different ways, e.g. with a swivel feature, air conditioning, heating and your choice of material.

As an option, we will equip both the driver’s and the attendant’s seat with the fabric selected for the passenger seats. This results in a uniform look for your coach’s interior.

ISRI driver’s seat. For the TopClass and ComfortClass models, the optional ISRI driver’s seat from the 500 series is equipped with an innovative height-adjustable safety belt outlet that enables even more driver comfort. Additionally, an integrated pneumatic system not only simplifies seat adjustment but also allows the seat back contour to adjust to the driver’s body shape.

Setra’s attendant’s seats. Setra’s folding attendant’s seats are state-of-the-art in terms of ergonomics and designed for functionality – and you can choose between single and double seats. Depending on the vehicle series, the backrests can be adjusted either manually or electrically, and the seat can be pushed forward through two locking points at 35 or

70 millimetres. Thanks to their compact design, these seats provide more room for entering the coach, as well as for a refrigeration unit or storage compartment at the front. And when down, they offer attendants a comfortable, anatomically designed seat to work from.

Important for you. Important for us. Technical Data Stored in the Vehicle. Electronic vehicle components (e.g. Airbag Control Unit, Engine Control Unit) contain data storage for vehicle Technical Data, including but not limited

to Diagnostic Trouble Codes in the event of a malfunction, vehicle speed, braking force, or operating conditions of the Restraint System and Driver Assistance Systems in case of an accident (no audio and no video data recording). This data is either stored volatile, punctual as snapshot e.g. Diagnostic Trouble Codes,

over a short period of time (a few seconds only) e.g. in case of an accident or in aggregated form e.g. for component load evaluation. The data can be read using interfaces connected to the vehicle. Trained technicians can process and utilize the data to diagnose and repair possible malfunctions. The manufacturer can use the data to analyze and improve vehicle functions. When requested by the customer, Technical Data can form the basis of additional optional services.

In general, data from the vehicle is transferred to the manufacturer or a third party only according to legal allowance, or based on a contractual customer consent in accordance with data protection laws. Further information regarding storage of vehicle Technical Data is provided in the vehicle Owner’s Manual.
