This year Christmas Day takes on aneven greater significance than in timesgone by. Everyone at Taj Bar andKitchen hopes that come December25th the restrictions we have all faced

will be relaxed and we can warmly welcomeyou back with open arms. We want you to

forget about the dark times which haveclouded our life throughout 2020.

Our aim is to make this Christmas Day an occasion toremember. Consequently, we are pushing ahead

optimistically by launching our Christmas Menu. And we’revery hopeful we will be open in the run-up to Christmas,

throughout the month of December. And if we are, you will bewarmly welcomed and well looked after – not only with ourdelicious Festive Season Menu, but also with our well-stocked cocktail bar.

At the moment we are looking on the bright side andplanning for a relaxation of the restrictions which

are currently preventing us from openingnormally and on that basis, we are acceptingbookings for the Christmas period – from

December 12-24th inclusive. It just takes a£10 deposit per person to reserve yourtable. All deposits will be fullyrefundable if Covid-19prevents us from opening.

In the early hours of Tuesday, 27th of November 2018 a terrible fire rippedthrough the restaurant. It took almost a full 12 months before we were able tore-open, on the 25th of October, 2019 and now we are absolutely thrilled tobe celebrating the first anniversary of the new Taj Bar & Kitchen.

It has been a long hard road to get to this point, but there is no way we couldhave managed it on our own. So we’d like to thank everyone who helped usto get back on our feet when all seemed lost. This includes the designers,tradesmen and suppliers. But most of all we want to thank you, our loyalcustomers, who have stood by us and helped us reach this point. Withoutyou these celebrations would not be taking place and with your supportwe’re looking forward to another great year.
