July 2009 brochure of the world's largest and strongest crane, 20000ton crane TAISUN. Located in Yantai, China and designed and build by Yantai Raffles Shipyard, TAISUN is used in the construction of floating platforms for the offshore oil and gas industry such as semi-submersibles, TLPs, DDSS, etc. Building and completing topsides on the ground saves up to 2 million man hours and improves vessel delivery by up to 2 months, while also improving safety and quality. TAISUN is current world record holder for "heaviest weight lifted by crane" at 20133 metric tons.
