Have been swimming with whales for approx 25 years and have greatpolicies in place and respect for the whales Group size is no more than 4 in the water +1 guide at each swim We often have the same whales return year after yearTonga is a very quiet relaxing island its also very isolated providing anuntouched beauty Tourism hasn't fully hit Tonga yet so it has less service and can be setpermanently on "Tonga Time" so we need to practice a little more patienceon our visits here

Whale Swimming has been allowed in Tahiti for over 20 years. Thoughthere are also many other attractions offered and so we don't hear about itas much There is no maximum as to number of people in the water, there is a systemamong the operators and respect of the whalesThere are many other animals to swim with including Dolphins, Pilot Whales,turtles, sharks and raysThe island's beauty is jaw dropping and acts an a backdrop on our dailyboat trips. Differences to considerMajestic Whale Encounters run tours to both Tonga and Tahiti to swimwith Humpback Whales! When making a decision between the twocountries, we often get asked what the difference is. We LOVE bothdestinations for many different reasons and here they are listed below...

Recently my partner and I took a holiday to Tahiti with Majestic Whale Encounters. We were

celebrating our thirtieth wedding anniversary and wanted to step out of our comfort zone with

an adventure to treasure. What we got was unforgettable memories to treasure. We spent six

nights aboard a catamaran parking in sheltered bays around Moorea each evening. We were

picked up daily by our Tahitian whale whisperer and crew. The skill and affection for their

part of the world was evident by the respect they showed these magnificent marine mammals.

We swam with whales everyday and that was due to the right season and the skill of our team.

Words fail to adequately describe how well we were looked after and just how safe we felt at

all times.

The whole team ensured an anniversary to be remembered their professionalism and care to

the smallest details was outstanding. Thanks we would not hesitate to travel with them again

on any of their many other adventures.

Day 1 - Meet at the wharf in Moorea to embark your catamaran for the start ofyour tour. We wil l have a meet and greet and welcome dinner -Day 2-7 Five of your days wil l be spent swimming with the beautiful marine l ifeof Moorea. We wil l be heading out for our adventure aboard a comfortable,quiet, shaded whale watching vessel . You wil l return each day to the Catamaran at around 1pm for lunch or have theoption of going back to the beachfront to one of Moorea's many wonderfulbeach bars!Dinner wil l be provided back on board each night again with an option to visitMoorea for some night activities (markets, bars and more)One of the days we wil l be heading to the mainland for a true Tahitian culturalexperience!*During your time on the boat you wil l also have time to explore and snorkel themany beautiful reefs of Moorea. -What is the weather like? It will be Tahiti's winter when the whales arrive, which isone of the best months to visit French Polynesia. The dayscan be quite warm, usually sitting somewhere between 25-32 degrees Celsius but you must also be prepared for somecolder weather on occasions particualrly while out on thewhale swimming boat

-What else is there to do when i'm not swimming withwhales? On the Catamaran you can go snorkelling, swimming,visit different reefs, laze around with a book and orcocktail. You can also visit land on the tender to go to bars,restaurants, cultural shows, beaches , pineappleplantations and much more -What are our chances of swimming with whales? They are wild animals so we can never give 100%guarantee but we do everything possible to maximisethe chance of swimming with them. We do 5 days on thewater for this reason. I have dietary requests, can these be catered for? Yesof course, just let us know upon booking

SWIMMING WITHWHALESYou will be spending 5 days out searchingfor humpback whales upon a custom builtboat that will have a tour leader, a guideand a skipper. Part of the fun is keeping alook out for whales. Once you have foundthem, we will then observe their behaviourto make sure it is safe for both the whaleand the swimmers before quietly slippinginto the water to join them for what will bea memory that will last you a lifetime. Youwill need to be able to swim sometimes up to100m to get to the whales so it may be agood idea to do a little bit of swimming athome just to practice. Please remember that they are wild animalsso there is never a guarantee on what kindof experience you will have, but this is whywe have 5 full days, we want to give youthe best chance possible to swim with thesebeautiful and often very interactivecreatures.
