1 Explanation of symbols and safety instructions

1.1 Explanation of symbols

WarningsIn warnings, signal words at the beginning of a warning are used to indicate the type and seriousness of the ensuing risk if measures for minimising danger are not taken.The following signal words are defined and can be used in this document:

DANGER: DANGER indicates that severe or life-threatening personal injury will occur.

WARNING: WARNING indicates that severe to life-threatening personal injury may occur.

CAUTION: CAUTION indicates that minor to medium personal injury may occur.

NOTICE: NOTICE indicates that material damage may occur.

Important information

The info symbol indicates important information where there is no risk to people or property.

3.2 Product informationThe EasyControl together with the “Control Key” can be set up anywhere in the house using the EasyControl table stand. Only a 230 V power supply is required to set it up.

Installation

3.3 UseThe product is designed solely for use with the EasyControl and a heat source with a “Control Key” installed.

The “Control Key” is the communication module in the heat source. It is not supplied with this table stand. The table stand will only function when installed in conjunction with a “Control Key” (purchased separately).

▶ Make sure that the product is set up correctly by following the safety instructions and other directions, which are contained in these instructions and the EasyControl app.

▶ The specifications must be observed.▶ Avoid high temperatures, moisture and dusty environments

( fig. 2).▶ Do not make any alterations to the product.

4 InstallationIn order to be able to use the EasyControl on the table stand, it must be in conjunction with a “Control Key”.

Setting up the EasyControlThe reference room is a room (for example the living room), where the temperature is measured. The measured room temperature is

representative of the whole dwelling. The reference room could also be the room in your home, where you spend the most amount of time.If the weather compensation mode is used, it is not necessary to locate the control unit in the reference room.▶ It is recommended that the EasyControl is installed within a reference

room.▶ Ensure that there is sufficient clearance all around the EasyControl.

4.1 Mounting method▶ Attach the appropriate mains plug to the adaptor [1].

Installing the EasyControl▶ Hook the EasyControl onto the fixing points at the top of the stand

[1].▶ Lever the EasyControl down into place [2]. There will be an audible

“click” [2] once locked in place.The EasyControl is now locked in place.

▶ Insert the mains plug into a socket [3].▶ Follow on screen instruction.

▶ Make sure that both the EasyControl and the EasyControl app have been successfully installed.

4.3 Removing the EasyControl▶ Unlock the EasyControl by pressing the unlocking button [1].▶ Lift the bottom of the EasyControl to remove it [2].

5 CommissioningOnce the EasyControl has been installed on the table stand, follow the instructions on the EasyControl app to establish a wireless connection between the EasyControl and the “Control Key”.

Failure ActionThe EasyControl touchscreen does not work.

• Check whether the EasyControl is properly engaged in the table stand.

• No power supply; try another socket.

• Mains adaptor faulty; replace the mains adaptor.

The EasyControl on the table stand can not establish a connection to the heat source.
