Provide detailed descriptions from chosen examples that establish… Clearly state what production technique(s) you think have been used to create specific soundtrack elements

Setting

The music in this scene sounds like the character is on a mission so the setting would be somewhere with enemies/enemy and a place with many obstacles in the characters path to victory. After hearing the music I imagine an indoor setting where the character needs to reclaim something that is kept in the building they’re in but after seeing the cut scene I don’t think that the music was best suited for the outdoor sunny area.

The music sounds computerised using drums, violin, guitar and it sounds upbeat and mission like.

Mood

The mood is like the character is on a mission to achieve their goal. The music makes it sound as though the character is trying to stay hidden whilst achieving their objective.

The guitar mainly creates the mission feel since that is the main instrument being played.

Game genre

The game genre suggested by the music is action adventure. Since there is a mission like feel to the music, the game must have different scenarios where the character must achieve something whilst avoiding obstacles and enemies.

I think the music was created using software which gives it a mission like sound. Computerised instruments such as guitars and violins were used to create a mission like atmosphere.

Narrative

The narrative implied by the music is the character trying to achieve their goal physically.

The fast paced, computerised music implies there is action involved.
