AAAservicesare formembersonly.TheAAAmembershipcardcoverstheindividualnamedonthecard.AAAHoosierMotorClubprovidesfourtypesofmembership.

MembershipOptions…PrimaryMembershipThe firstmembership inahousehold is called theprimarymember. Emergency Road Service is available for anyvehiclethememberisdrivingorridingin,exceptthosethatare hired such as taxis and limousines. Basicmembershipbeginsthedayduesarepaidandisrenewedannually.

AssociateMembershipAssociatememberships are available at a reduced rate toindividualslivingintheprimarymember’shousehold.Eachassociate membership provides the same privileges,benefits and services of a primarymembership. Separatemembershipcardsareissuedtoassociates.

BasicWith the entry level membership, Basicmembers receivestandard benefits such as Emergency Road Service, AAAmaps and TourBook® guides, insurance coverage, AAATravelservices,memberdiscountsandmuchmore.Eligiblevehiclesincludepassengercars,trucks,SUVsandvans.

PlusAny current primary member is eligible for Plus, anoptional, expanded benefit package that increases Basic

membership coverage for an additional charge. Benefitsinclude extended towing distance, increased locksmithservice, extended extricating/winching service, increasedtripinterruptionprotection,increasedlegalreimbursementprotection,andincreasedtravelaccidentinsurance.PlusRVPlus RV is an optional benefit for Plus members whichextendsPluscoveragetothemember’srecreationalvehicleormotorcycle. An RV is considered to be amotor home,truck with camper, travel trailer or camping trailer. RVcoverage is an expansion of Plus benefits. Members notcurrently carrying Plus must purchase this in addition toPlusRV.

PlusPremierCurrent primary members are eligible for Plus Premier,which is an optional, ultimate expanded benefits packagethatincreasestheBasicandPlusmembershipcoverageforan additional charge. Premier members are eligible forgreatlyexpandedbenefitsincludingafreetowofupto200milespermembershiphousehold,exclusiveofferings suchastripinterruptionreimbursementupto$1,500,aone-daycomplimentary rental car benefit per year with anallowable tow as well as home lockout service, increasedlegalreimbursementprotectionandmuchmore.

Please be aware that each individual membership, Basic,Plus,PlusRVandPremier,hasamaximumof4EmergencyRoad Service (ERS) usage calls per membership year.Additionalcallswillrequirepaymentatthetimeofservice.

WhenisPlus,PlusRVandPremierEffective?If Plus, Plus RV and Plus Premier service is added to amembershipor purchasedwith a newmembership, therewill be a 72 hourwaiting period before PLUS services areprovided(Basicserviceisstillavailableimmediately).

ConditionsofMembershipAAA Hoosier Motor Club offers a large variety ofmembership benefits which provide savings, advantages,andprotection—trulyabargain—formodestannualdues.TheClubprovidesmaximumservice throughacentralizedservice structure and the pooling of member dues. Toprovide service equity andmaximum return, theClubhasreasonable limitations and regulations set forth by theofficersanddirectorsofAAA.TheClubreservestherighttomakechangesinbenefitsatanytimewithoutnotice.

Service may be limited and/or subject to membershipcancellation or non-renewal under the conditions ofabusive or confrontational situations. These situationsinclude but are not limited to; safety risks, acts ofaggression,demonstrationofweapons,intenttodobodilyinjury, intimidation, verbal abuse or discriminatorypractice. Such actions will not be tolerated and AAAHoosierMotorClubreservestherighttoreasonablychoosewithwhomitwilldobusiness.

• GuaranteeArrestBondservice,LegalReimbursement,orPersonalAccident Insurancebenefits forviolationsinvolving driving under the influence of liquor ornarcotics, or driving on a suspended, expired orrevokedlicense/registration.

MembershipLapseMembers who let their membership lapse more than 30dayswillbechargeda$40administration fee to reinstatewith AAA Hoosier Motor Club if they need immediateEmergency Road Service. Only Basic road service will beprovidedduringthefirst72hours.

AutomaticDuesRenewalFor convenience, AAA members can have their yearlyrenewal dues automatically charged to their AAA Visa®account or other credit/debit card. Your yearly renewaldues will automatically renew without interruption. AAAwillmailyouanoticebeforeyourrenewaldatetoremindyouthatyourAutoRenewalisdue,andthenautomaticallychargeyourcredit/debitcard.****Automaticrenewalmaybediscontinuedatanytime.Contactanyservicecenterformoreinformation,orcall(317)923-1500.

ServiceOutsidetheU.S.andCanadaYour membership card can be used outside the U.S. andCanada for courtesy travel assistance from foreign autoclubs working with AAA. For legal, bail or road serviceoutside the U.S. and Canada, secure a receipted bill andsubmit it to AAA Hoosier Motor Club for reimbursementconsideration. Members are completely covered by AAAPersonal Accident Insurance in the U.S. and Canada. Inothercountries,members receiveup to$1,000 for lossoflife,limborsightduetoanycoveredaccident.

ScopeofService…EmergencyRoadServiceEmergencyRoadService(ERS)isoneofAAAHoosierMotorClub’s most valuable services. Roadside assistance isprovidedbyanetworkofmorethan43,000servicevehiclesavailable to assist you 24 hours a day in the U.S. andCanada.

SpecialNotetoOurMembersTheseERSguidelinesaredesignedtogivethebestpossibleservice to the greatest number ofmembers in the fairestandsafestmannerpossible.

To avoid misunderstandings, we urge you to familiarizeyourselfwiththebenefitsandany limitationswhichmightapply to a particular service you request. Please keep acopy of these policies in the glove compartment of eachvehicledrivenbyamember.AdditionalcopiesareavailableatyourlocalAAAservicecenteroronlineatAAA.com.

PurposeofServiceEmergency Road Service is designed to aid any memberwhose vehicle has become unexpectedly disabled andcannot be safely driven under its own power. It is anemergency service only—not a substitute for propermaintenanceandrepair.Thepropercareandmaintenanceof a given vehicle is the individual responsibility of eachmember. Our intent is to provide service with the safestappropriateequipment.

Eachmembershiphasanallotmentoffouremergencyroadservice calls. In the case of a family with multiple AAAmembers,thefamilyasawholeshallbeentitledtoatotalof four (4) emergency road service calls permember, peryear. Each membership year renewal reestablishes theallowance. In addition to the above criteria, if any familymember incurs twelve (12) or more emergency roadservice calls over a three (3) year period, Hoosier MotorClub reserves the right not to renew that individual’smembership or the memberships of that individual’sfamily.

In theevent you requiremore than four EmergencyRoadServicecallsinamembershipyear,youwillberequiredtopayforserviceatthetimeeachadditionalcall isrenderedattherespondingcontractors’prevailingrate.

MemberSafetyOurforemostconcernissafetytoourmembersandservicepersonnel.Theremaybearequestforservicethatcannotbe honored due to potential hazards. Service is providedonly if a vehicle can be reached safely and will not beprovideduntilavehicleismadeaccessible.Shovelingawaysnoworremovingavehiclefrommudareexamples.Somevehicles may be unreachable or inaccessible due tounplowed/icy streets or their location on back roads ordriveways.

CoveredVehiclesUnderBasic,PLUS&Premier:

Four-wheeled motor driven vehicles of the passenger,pleasure,or recreational type (vans), regardlessof licenseplatedesignation,ifthoseservicescanbesafelydelivered;

• Dual-wheelcampers/motorhomeswillbeprovidedallservicesexcepttowing,extrication/recovery,andtireservice.

• Rented passenger vehicles are eligible for service.Commercialpassengervehiclesareeligibleforservicewiththeexclusionoftaxicabsandlimousines.

• Please Note: The AAA membership is designed foremergency road service situations and not as aconvenienceorforrepairpricecomparison.

VehiclesCoveredUnderPLUSRV• Recreationalvehicle,motorcycle,andlargedualwheel

pickup. Rented passenger vehicles are eligible forservice.Commercialpassengervehiclesareeligibleforservicewiththeexclusionoftaxicabsandlimousines.

• Motor homes and campers are defined asmanufactured, motor driven vehicles equipped withliving accommodations, regardless of curb weightrating,usedfornoncommercialrecreationalpurposes.(Semi-truckcabsareexcluded.)

• Travel trailers are defined as noncommercial trailersequipped with living accommodations. (Includes popuptrailers.)

• Motorcyclesaredefinedastwoorthreewheelmotordriven vehicles, legally licensed for normal roadwayuse.

Please Note: Boat, horse, livestock, utility/automobiletrailersandboxtrucksareexcluded.

AvailableBenefitsEmergency Road Service personnel are trainedprofessionals who are skilled in providing assistance formembersinneedofroadsideaid.Theyarenotmechanics.EmergencyRoadServicedoesnot include repairexpensesor guarantee that facilities are available for mechanicalrepair.HMCwill assist themember in finding the nearestApproved Auto Repair facility or Approved Body Shop. Ifrepairs arenot accessible, Clubpersonnel are available toassist the member in locating lodging and/or alternativetransportation if needed. YourAAAmembershipdoesnotincludecostsincurredduetomechanicalbreakdown.

• EmergencyMechanicalFirstAid-Minoradjustments,notrequiringparts,willbemadeinanefforttoenablethevehicletooperateunderitsownpower.

• BatteryService-Thecarwillbejump-started/battery-boosted. If the vehicle cannot be started, towingservicewillbeprovided.

AAA sells and installs quality batteries with a 3-yearreplacement guarantee upon your request and willperform this service at your location of breakdown.PaymentforthismobileserviceMUSTbemadeatthetimeofservice(thisservice isavailable inmostareasoftheU.S.andCanada).

• Flat Tire Service - Themembers’mounted sparewillbeinstalled.Ifthespareisflat,missingortheoriginaltirecannotberemoved,thevehiclewillbetowed.Important Notice…After installation of a spare tire,you must have the wheel fasteners (lugs, studs ornuts) professionally retorqued (retightened) after 30milesofdriving.Placinga spare tireon thevehicle isonlyanemergencyandtemporaryrepair.

• Gasoline Delivery Service - An emergency supply ofgasoline will be delivered to the disabled vehicle;enough that will enable the vehicle to return to thenearest fuel supply source. Thememberwill pay forgasoline at current pump prices of the stationrenderingservice. Whenfuel isnotavailable,thecarwill be towed. (Note: Due to additional servicesneeded,dieselpoweredvehicleswillbetowed.)Plus,PlusRV&Premier:Extendsyourbasiccoverageto includedeliveryof a limited supplyof gasoline, atnocost, to the sceneofdisablement thatwill enablethevehicletoreachthenearestfuelsupplysource.

• Lock and Key Service - Lock and key serviceswill beattempted to safely render the eligible vehicledrivable. In some cases, we are unable to makeignition keys due to various circumstances that areoutsideofourcontrol.If the key that operates or provides access to thepassengercompartmentofthevehicleislost,broken,

or the service provider cannot gain entry, the Clubshall provide locksmith service up to $50, orreimbursementofcommerciallocksmithserviceupto$50. If necessary, the Club also will provide towservice (in accordance with the Club’s towingprovision).Plus & Plus RV: extends your basic coverage toprovide for reimbursement up to $100 in parts andlabor for locksmith services to vehicles that havebecomedisabled.Plus Premier: extends Plus coverage to provide forreimbursement up to $150 in parts and labor forlocksmith services to vehicles that have becomedisabled.

• HomeLockoutPlus Premier: If you become locked out of yourresidence, you can receive locksmith services to gainaccesstoyourhome.Homelockoutserviceisreservedfor a Plus Premiermember’s primary residence onlyand excludes all other buildings or locked areas. Theserviceprovidesupto$100for thecostof re-keying,changing locks or making a new key only when thelockmust be drilled to gain entry to the home or ifkeysarelostorstolen.Anychargesinexcessof$100,as well as all charges associated with any otherresidential locksmith services, are at the expense ofthePlusPremiermember.HomelockoutserviceislimitedtooneusageperPlusPremier member, per membership year. Homelockout service is not transferable to any otherperson.ThePlusPremiermembermustbepresentatthe time of service. Identification and proof ofresidence is required. In the case of rental property,approval of the property owner may be required.Service is subject to provider availability, and if AAAHoosier Motor Club cannot provide service, themember will be referred to a commercial locksmithandwillbereimbursedforcoveredserviceupto$100.Locksmith arrival time is based upon locksmithavailability.

• Towing Service - AAA will provide one tow perdisablement. If the member requests to have the

vehicletowed,AAAwillprovideforthefirstthree(3)miles.Additionalmileageistobepaidbythememberat the time of service. Tows back to the respondingserviceproviders’facilityforrepairsareatnocharge.AAA cannot guarantee the immediate availability offlatbed equipment or that facilities are available formechanicalrepair.AAAcannotberesponsiblefortaxiservice as there are othermembers also waiting forservice.Iftherequestedtowisaresultofanaccident,allpolicereportsmustbecompletedbeforetowing.Ifanyspecialequipment,morethanonetruckormorethanoneperson is required, theassociatedcostmaybe at the member’s expense. (Expenses to themember for an additional truck or servicerepresentativewill be at the rate of $10 per quarterhourafterthefirst30minutesonscene.)Long distance tows may require preparation andscheduling.AAA’sintentistoprovideservicewiththesafest and most appropriate equipment. Prior to anexisting breakdown,membersMUSThave purchasedPLUScoverage72hoursinadvanceinordertoreceiveup to 100 miles of towing. Premier members musthavepurchasedcoverage72hoursinadvanceinordertoreceiveuptoone(1)200miletowperhousehold.Plus: extends your basic coverage to include freetowing up to 100 miles to the destination of themember’schoicefromthepointofdisablement.Plus RV: extends coverage to a motor home, traveltrailer, camper trailer, motorcycle and truck withcamper that is manufactured for that purpose.ReimbursementperoccurrenceisatcommercialratesforcoveredservicewhenaAAAERSRVcontractor isnotavailable.Plus Premier: extends Plus coverage to include onefree tow up to 200 miles, per household permembershipyeartothedestinationofthemember’schoicefromthepointofdisablement.

• Emergency Breakdown Hertz Car Rental Discount -PlusPremiermemberswhosevehiclesareinoperableafter receiving towing service from AAA for non-collision related events in the United States orCanada, are eligible* through Hertz, AAA’s preferredrental car provider, for one free rental day at

participating Hertz locations per household permembershipyear.Standardrentalqualificationsapply.Service must be arranged through AAA. The PlusPremiermember is responsible for subsequent days’rental charges, upgrades, vehicle insurance, mileageand fuel charges, and any other charges, fees andtaxes which may apply, and are not subject todiscount. The carmust be returned to rental pick-uplocation.Howtouse:Whenyoucallusforroadsideassistance,please informAAAthatyouwould likeaHertz rentalcar while your vehicle is being repaired. If you’reunsure if you’ll require a replacement vehicle, youmaycallAAAwithin48hoursof your initial roadsideassistancecalltorequestyourHertzcarrental.

• Extrication Service - A members’ vehicle that hasaccidentally veered froma regularly-traveled roadordriveway and can be safely reachedwith equipmentnormally available from the nearest AAA facility willbeextricated.AAAwillprovideoneservice truckandoneservicepersonatthescene.Ifspecialequipment,more than one truck or more than one person isrequired,theassociatedcostmaybeatthemembers’expense. Expenses to the member for an additionaltruck/servicerepresentativewillbeattherateof$10perquarterhourafterthefirst30minutesonscene.Plus,PlusRV&Premier:extendsyourbasiccoveragetoprovide, ifnecessary,a secondservicevehicleandpersonnelforonehouratthescene.

• Emergency Repair Check Acceptance - Cash andcredit/debit cards are accepted as payment foremergency repairs and service by ERS contractfacilities. If members find themselves withoutsufficientcashorcredit/debitcards,personalchecksareacceptedfortheexactamountoftheinvoiceupto$250. A valid and currentmembership cardmust bepresented in addition to other photo identificationrequiredbythefacility.This program covers only emergency repairs andservice necessary to put a member’s vehicle in safeoperating condition. Included are Emergency RoadService, mechanical repairs and/ or necessary parts.

This service is only available from emergency roadservicefacilities.PleaseNote:EmergencyCheckAcceptanceisnotvalidfor the following: normal maintenance, such as oilchange and lubrication or nonessential repairs thatcanbeperformednearthemember’sresidence.AAAHoosierMotor Club guarantees themember’s checktotheERS facility. If thecheck isnothonoredbythebank on which it is drawn, AAA HoosierMotor Clubwill reimburse the ERS facility and will collect allaccrued charges from the member.
