Before Beginning Installation

Before drilling please check that no cable or wiring is on theother side of the wall. Please clamp all wires securely to reducethe possibility of them being damaged while vehicle is in use.Keep all cables away from hot or moving parts and electrical noisy components.

We recommend doing a benchmark test before installationto insure that all components are working properly.

Step 1: Choose the monitor and camera locations.

Step 2: Install all cables in vehicle, when necessary a 0.8 (20mm)hole should be drilled for passing camera cable through vehicleswalls. Install split grommets where applicable.

Step 3: Once all cables and wiring have been properly routed, perform a system function test by temporarily connecting thesystem. If the system seems to not be operating properly seetroubleshooting (page 17).

Installation Guide

The multiplexer.• To power the system connect

the power (RED) 12V+ wire toignition power and the ground(BLACK) wire to chassis ground.

• These are the only wiresneeded to power the entiresystem and all the cameras. Each camera can be seen atany time by simply pressingthe power button and usingthe V1/2 button to toggle.

• The three positive trigger wires(BLUE-CH1, WHITE-CH2,YELLOW-CH3) each representone channel and will turn ontheir channel when the triggerwire is energized with 12V.

• "Camera 3" is the designatedbackup channel. To have thethe backup camera come onwhen you go into reverse, con-nect the BLUE wire to reversepower (or any power sourcethat comes on only in reverse).

• The other channels can simi-

larly be triggered (i.e. side cam-eras can be triggered by the turnsignals etc.)• To automatically have cameraand monitor turn ON when vehi-cle activates, simply twist BLUEpositive trigger 12V+ to RedPower line 12V+ and wire to ig-nition power.

Note: This setup will disablethe menu in channel 3. Toaccess the menu simply moveto channel 1 or 2 and all thechanges will apply to channel3.Note: When the blue wire isactive it will have precedenceover the other triggers. Therefore, if you wish to usemultiple triggers, do notattach the blue trigger toconstant power.

• Audio: There is audio onchannels 2 and 3. On channel 3the blue trigger wire must beenergized (12V) to activate theaudio. On channel 2 the audiois always on.

• Grid-lines: The grid-lines arealso carried through the bluewire. To use the grid-lines forreversing, connect the bluewire to a reverse power.

• There is a built-in voltageregulator for our systems whichcan handle 12-24 volts. Realconsumption is 10 to 30 Volts.

Note: The camera andmonitorcan always beactivated by manuallypushing the power button onmonitor. This is in addition toutilizing the positive triggers.

Note: If connecting power directly to battery, the camerais always ON and therefore candrain battery. Therefore it isrecommended to connectpower to an ignition switchedaccessory power source.
