The raw water flows by gravity through the inlet (front plate) into the drum. The raw water passes
through the screening mesh leaving the intercepted solids on the inner surface of the screen baskets.
The drum starts moving by a pre-adjustable water level difference of approximately 80 mm between
inside and outside of the drum. Detected by ultrasonic sensors. The difference is a sign for overloading
basket surface.
The drum start rotating. The baskets passes the cleaning device on top of the drum. The rinsing water
and washed out solids is flushing in trough and tube trough the back side plate
Cleaned baskets improve the filtration. The water level difference reduce under 80 mm. By reducing of
the water level difference stops the rotation of the drum.
