ARJMST Born in 1978 in Abu Dhabi, Azza Al-Qubaisi is UAE’s leading jewellery designer & maker. G. About EBDA’A AwardIn its second edition, EBDA’A AWARD, the-first-of-its-kind jewellery competition in the UAE announced three first prize winners during JWS 2014 , Reed Exhibitions launched EBDA’A AWARD in 2013 with the aim to encourage creativity and innovation using local inspirations, and promote careers in the industry. It was open in three categories including daywear jewellery, evening wear and contemporary interpretation of traditional jewellery.

The awards were sponsored by Amwaj Jewellery, Ghenej Jewellery and Al Masaood Jewellery who will produce the winning jewellery designs, in association with and supported by renowned Emirati jewellery artist Azza Al Qubaisi and the Gemological Institute of America (GIA) which collaborated with EBDA’A AWARD to mentor participants through educational jewellery courses.

Furthermore Reed Exhibitions will offer 2013, 2014 and 2015 EBDA’A AWARD winners the chance to showcase their jewellery at a leading global jewellery event in 2015. At the JCK Las Vegas trade show, these winning jewellery trend-setters will also get an opportunity to acquaint themselves with unique designs from up and coming designers and the latest collections from established international jewelry artists.
