Anyone who is planning a challenging mountain tour will expect much of his rucksack. It should be

light, sit closely against the body’s centre of gravity, and yet go along with any extreme movement.

This is where TATONKA comes in – with ultra light alpine rucksacks that offer first-class carrying

The slender forms of the frontloader Vari and toploader Cebus mean they are practically

pre-destined for use on the climbing trail. The versatile front pocket provides a clever helmet

and rope attachment, lots of other attachment options, and the buckles and catches are particularly

easy to use. Vert 35 is a smart ski trip rucksack with a roll-up closure; size and design are

for challenging skiing or snowboarding trips. The roll-up closure is not only easy to operate,

but almost makes the rucksack much lighter than a comparable toploader. The minimalistic

Cima de Basso is ideal for sports climbers.

This alpine lightweight weighs in at just 680 grams (22 litres) and 810 grams (35 litres). The pre-shaped Padded Back carrying system and the detachable belt hip strap guarantee that it sits well against the body – even when a lot of movement is involved.
