We’ve had a really positive and busy 2015/16 season working with existing and new clients…on old and new ground! We’ve tweaked, created, maintained, built and remediated trails and sites through- out Christchurch and Canterbury... We continue to work with private clients as well as local Councils (Christchurch and Selwyn), Department of Conservation, local Clubs and Organisations (North Canterbury Cycling Club and Craigieburn Trails) as well as working alongside Trail Fund NZ. We have been parcularly proud of the work we have been involved in on the Wharfedale Track, in conjuncon with DoC, with two fur- ther stages completed this season. This iconic trail is a jewel in Can- terbury’s trail network and we are stoked to have been a part of ensuring its long-term sustainability and user enjoyment! A huge thanks to the North Canterbury Cycling Club and TrailFund NZ for making this happen. We have received some fantasc feedback and, judging on the increased numbers on the trail, people are enjoying the tweaks! Our private work has seen us creang private access trails on the Port Hills, site excavaons on difficult to reach locales in Lyelton and further siteworks on steep terrain where, once again, the Lile Yellow Digger performs at its best. We’ve really enjoyed getting into some new areas and terrain this year…and working with new clients to see their ideas on paper come to fruition. We have had a few people and organisations contact us throughout the season about projects that are in the pipeline, we are always keen to discuss your plans. We can be involved from concept through to the finished product…and everything in between…or just a part of it. If you have a project in mind for next season (September ’16 through to May ‘17), need some inspiration, a quote, a consult or just keen on booking us in, get in touch for a chat. The cooler weather is just around the corner, Sco heads South to Queenstown for the Winter Season in July...if you’re down that way and keen on some heli-assisted freshies, give us a call. In the meanme, thank you for being a part of our season in one way or another and we look forward to working/chang with you soon. All the best and Happy Trails, Sco and Emma THE LITTLE YELLOW DIGGER Let’s be honest here, without the Lile Yellow Digger, T5 wouldn’t exist! It’s unique features with height and width adjustable rubber tracks means that we can access terrain, which would otherwise not be easily accessible with an excavator, and we leave a minimal “footprint” once we have leſt. This track funcon together with it being a powerful yet lightweight machine has seen us access some ght and difficult to reach spaces and places...providing a finished product with lile (or no) addional impact on the surrounding environ- ment. Due to the Yanmar SV08 being a lightweight machine, it is totally helicopterable (!!) - we have had it airborne on two separate projects this year. While the SV08 is our machine of choice for the majority of projects, there are times when the work requires a larger excavator and/or other machinery. We have a great working relationship with several local machine hire companies in Christchurch and will ensure we have the best machine for the job! Here’s what we do plus some... We’ve had a really positive and busy 2015/16 season working with

existing and new clients…on old and new ground! We’ve tweaked,

created, maintained, built and remediated trails and sites through-

out Christchurch and Canterbury...

We continue to work with private clients as well as local Councils

(Christchurch and Selwyn), Department of Conservation, local Clubs

and Organisations (North Canterbury Cycling Club and Craigieburn

Trails) as well as working alongside Trail Fund NZ.

We have been particularly proud of the work we have been involved

in on the Wharfedale Track, in conjunction with DoC, with two fur-

ther stages completed this season. This iconic trail is a jewel in Can-

terbury’s trail network and we are stoked to have been a part of

ensuring its long-term sustainability and user enjoyment! A huge

thanks to the North Canterbury Cycling Club and TrailFund NZ for

making this happen. We have received some fantastic feedback and,

judging on the increased numbers on the trail, people are enjoying

the tweaks!

Our private work has seen us creating private access trails on the

Port Hills, site excavations on difficult to reach locales in Lyttelton

and further siteworks on steep terrain where, once again, the Little

Yellow Digger performs at its best.

We’ve really enjoyed getting into some new areas and terrain this

year…and working with new clients to see their ideas on paper

come to fruition.

We have had a few people and organisations contact us throughout

the season about projects that are in the pipeline, we are always

keen to discuss your plans. We can be involved from concept

through to the finished product…and everything in between…or just

a part of it. If you have a project in mind for next season (September

’16 through to May ‘17), need some inspiration, a quote, a consult

or just keen on booking us in, get in touch for a chat.

The cooler weather is just around the corner, Scott heads South to

Queenstown for the Winter Season in July...if you’re down that way

and keen on some heli-assisted freshies, give us a call.

In the meantime, thank you for being a part of our season in one

way or another and we look forward to working/chatting with you

soon.

All the best and Happy Trails, Scott and Emma

THE LITTLE YELLOW DIGGER

Let’s be honest here, without the Little Yellow Digger, T5 wouldn’t exist! It’s unique features with height and width adjustable rubber

tracks means that we can access terrain, which would otherwise not be easily accessible with an excavator, and we leave a minimal

“footprint” once we have left. This track function together with it being a powerful yet lightweight machine has seen us access some tight

and difficult to reach spaces and places...providing a finished product with little (or no) additional impact on the surrounding environ-

ment. Due to the Yanmar SV08 being a lightweight machine, it is totally helicopterable (!!) - we have had it airborne on two separate

projects this year.

While the SV08 is our machine of choice for

the majority of projects, there are times when

the work requires a larger excavator and/or

other machinery. We have a great working

relationship with several local machine hire

companies in Christchurch and will ensure we

have the best machine for the job!

Here’s what we do plus some...
