Uncle Bubba’s Bakery My Uncle Bubba owns a bakery. He opened it last year. It is open every day. Last week, my mom and I went to the bakery. We tried many yummy treats! The cookies were the best. They were called “Vanilla Dream Cookies.” My Aunt Pat loves to bake, too. She helps Uncle Bubba every day. My sister and I asked my uncle if we could help make cookies in the bakery, too. Uncle Bubba said, “Maybe. But only if you help eat the cookies!” We said, “You have a deal!”

Uncle Bubba’s Bakery A pronoun is a word that takes the place of a noun. I, you, he, she, it, we, and they are all pronouns. Read Annie’s story about her uncle’s bakery. For each underlined pronoun, write the noun it replaces.
