Quick Parking Tips
A ticket must be displayed at all times when parking anywhere in the CBD, except in 1/4P bays. Check signs to see how long you can stay.
The first two hours are free in a Visitor/Shopper car park - but you must display a ticket.
In Visitor/Shopper car parks, use only one free ticket per vehicle, per day.
Parking machines do not give change.
If you pay to park on the street, you can use that ticket to park on any CBD street before it expires (not in car parks).
Car park tickets are only valid in car parks.
You can pay with coins, credit card, debit card or iPark. (i-Park is only available in car parks – visit www.ipark.com.au).
A motorcycle can park in a motorcycle parking bay for free.
Loading zones are for commercial and delivery vehicles only while actively loading/unloading.
ACROD and TPI permit holders park free – please clearly display your permit.

Helpful Tips for Parking in Bunbury
Staying for a while orjust a quick visit, it’snever been easier tospend time in Bunbury.
ACCESSIBLE BUNBURY Parking for ACROD and TPI permit holders
PARKING FOR ACROD PERMIT HOLDERS RETURNED AND SERVICES LEAGUE PARKING (TPI Permit Holders)
The City of Bunbury is proud to be a partner in the You’re Welcome Access WA Initiative.
To find out information about accessible facilities and attractions in Bunbury visit the You’re Welcome website – www.accesswa.com.au – and search for Bunbury.
The website assists people with disabilities, their family and carers to find accurate and detailed access information. This information is necessary for people with disabilities to make decisions about which businesses, community services and facilities meet their access requirements.
The You’re Welcome website provides information about accessible accommodation; parking; toilets; change rooms; beaches; cafés and playgrounds; cinemas; theatres; libraries; shops; tourist attractions and sport and recreation facilities.
You can also visit the City of Bunbury Customer Service Centre on 4 Stephen Street or Bunbury Visitor Centre in the Old Railway Station on Carmody Place.
For more information about the accessible features of local Bunbury attractions, businesses and facilities, visit www.accesswa.com.au. Click on the ‘Location’ tab and scroll down to find Bunbury.
Dedicated parking bays for ACROD permit holders are located throughout the city centre, both on-street as well as in public car parks. These bays are larger than normal and are clearly marked with signs and blue road markings.
Should all the ACROD bays be full, permit holders may park in another bay within the parking area.
The ACROD permit allows the following concessions;
• ACROD permit holders do not need to obtain a ticket when parking anywhere in the City of Bunbury.
• Except for time specified ACROD bays, the permit holder can park in a parking bay, on- street or in a car park, for twice the time permitted on the parking sign. If, however, a time limit is shown on a parking sign in an ACROD parking bay, this is the applicable time limit for this bay.
For more information about ACROD parking permits visit www.app.org.au or call 9242 5544.
A parking map is available at the City of Bunbury specifically outlining ACROD parking bays.
Returned and services league parking is available to totally and permanently incapacitated (TPI) permit holders.
There are no dedicated parking bays for TPI permit holders, however you may park in any ticket parking bay (on-street or in public car parks) for 1.5 times shown on the sign without getting and displaying a parking ticket. So in a 2 hour parking spot, a TPI permit holder may stay for 3 hours. TPI permits are not valid in an ACROD parking bay and must be displayed clearly when in use.

Dedicated motorcycle parking bays can be found throughout the city centre.
When parked in a motorcycle bay, time restrictions do not apply and a ticket is not required. However, if a motorcycle is parked in a ticket car park bay, time restrictions and parking fees do apply.
Loading zones are located around the city centre to provide parking for commercial vehicles servicing business loading in the city business district.
Time limits apply to all vehicles using a loading zone. Permits are also available for non-commercials that require the use of a loading zone.
A parking map is available at the City of Bunbury specifically outlining loading zones.
