Children are welcome! Age-appropriate activities during worship are available in “Busy Bags” at the main entrance to the Sanctuary. Tides & Tots, a staffed Nursery with private Mothers’ room is available on the first floor each Saturday, Sunday, and Wednesday. Holy Communion is available to all believers. Bread, wine (red), and grape juice (white) served. Gluten-free wafers are available. Large-print editions of weekend worship services are available. Please ask an usher. Campership Stipend Request OpenThree ELCA Lutheran Bible Camps in Iowa—EWALU, Lutheran Lakeside, and Riverside— each offer a range of options for summer youth camp in a fun, caring, and faith-based environment. To encourage participation Bethesda is offering our families a financial stipend (typically around $150) for each camper, depending on demand. To apply head over to https://bethesdaames.org/request-campership-stipends/ and fill out the form. Applications will be received through Thursday, April 30, with funds distributed when a receipt from one of these fine ELCA camps is provided to the church office.

Help Us Stock Up on Easter Candy!We are making preparations for our Annual Easter Egg Hunt! Please donate individually-wrapped Easter candy to bins outside the Commons & Sanctuary. Bethesda Youth will fill

the plastic eggs with your donations. This year’s event is a fundraiser

($1 pancake breakfast!) for the Summer Youthworks trip to Kansas City.

First Communion ClassesBethesda is conducting a series of classes for all children whose parents would like them to take their First Communion—especially our 2nd graders! Attend three Sundays—Mar. 22, 29, and April 5, 12 to 1pm in the Crossroads. Lunch will be served. First Communion will be celebrated at the Maundy Thursday service, April 9 @ 7:00 pm. Knitters Uknit(e)! April 1 @ 5pmJoin Ann Hein for a workshop on how to make FIDGET MUFFS! These multisensory tools are used by Alzheimer’s patients, people with sensory stimulation needs, special needs students, etc.! We are collecting completed muffs to adorn with sensory items for our May 17 cOMpassiOn sunday: Love Poured Out event, when we will explore our call to care for the neighbor in Gods’ word, and participate in sewing sensory items onto the completed muffs.
