• Born: 28. January 1457. • Died: 21. April 1509. • It was the first Tudor. • His wife was Elizabeth of
York and they had a daughter Margaret Tudor.
• They have four children: Arthur, Mary, Henry VIII And Margaret.
Henry VIII (Jindřich VIII)
• Henry VIII was born on June 28,1491 and died 28,1547 January.
• He had reigned from 1509 to 1547.• He had six wives: • Catherine of Aragon (annulled; died while
detained under guard at Kimbolton Castle),• Anne Boleyn (executed),• Jane Seymour (died days after giving birth, widely
believed to be following birth complications),• Anne of Cleves (annulled)• Catherine Howard (executed),• Catherine Parr (survived)• Henry’s parents were Elizabeth of York and
Henry VII. He founded the Church of England and proclaimed himself the head o fit.

Henry VIII (1491-1547)• Henry VIII was King of England from 21 April
1509 until his death.• Henry VIII was the second monarch of the
House of Tudor, succeeding his father, Henry VII.• Henry VIII is known for his role in the separation
of the Church of England from the Roman Catholic Church and establishing himself as the Supreme Head of the Church of England. Henry VIII was married six times:

serve“• She was a catholic• She was mother of Edward I• She died 12 days after giving a
birth to Edward I

• He was the son of Henry VII and Jane Seymour.
• In 1543, Henry VIII signed ‘Peace treaty’ with Scotland and to strengthen this agreement he betrothed his son Eduard to the seven-month-old daughter of the Scottish king, Mary.
• Henry wanted to take advantage and disadvantage of Scots and gradually united the two kingdoms.
• He was married to the daughter of the King of Scotland, Mary.
• He died due to illness.

Mary, Queen of Scots (1542 –1587),
also known as Mary Stuart or Mary I of Scotland
Mary was the only surviving legitimate child of King James V of Scotland. She was 6 days old when her father died and she succeeded
to the throne. She was crowned nine months later.
Mary was a daughter of James V, King of Scots.
She was the great-niece of King Henry VIII of England, as her
grandmother, Margaret Tudor, was Henry VIII's sister.
Mary was executed on the order of
Queen Elizabeth I.
James I
• He ruled England, Scotland and Ireland 22 years until his death in 1625.

(1566 - 1625) • James I was born on 19 June 1566 in Edinburgh
as the only son of Mary Queen of Scots.

• twice a king of England, winning the struggle against the Lancaster
• He had a daughter Elizabeth of York, who got married Henry VII, in 1486

• Charles was the 2nd son of James VI of Scotland (James 1 of England) and Anne of Denmark.
• He became heir to the throne on the death of his brother Henry in 1612.
• In 1625 he married Henrietta Maria, daughter of Henry IV of France.
• Their children were Charles and James (who became Charles II and James II), and Mary who married William II of Orange and was the mother of William III.
