THIRTY-FIRST SUNDAY IN ORDINARY TIME

The Lower Valley Food Bank is sponsoring

a fund raiser called “Soup for the Soul” on Saturday , November 9th from 11AM to 2PM. The event will be held at Crosspointe Church, 2581 Freeport Road in Harmar. Come and enjoy delicious homemade soups, bread & butter, cake and a drink for only $7 for adults and $3 for children (4 to 10). Children age 3 and under are free. Contact Joanne Fitzgerald at 724-882-4326 for tickets or more information.

Saint Joseph High School will be having a fall open house on Wednesday, November 13th from 5-7 pm.

Come Discover Your St. Joe's! Receive a private tour. Meet SJHS faculty, parents and students. Students and their families of any age are welcome. High school transfers

Sock Drive St. Joseph Parish will again be collecting new & gently used socks for the needy and the homeless from now until December 15th. A box is located at the entrance of the church for your donation. Thank you for your continued support.

OLMBS Ladies of Charity will be

collecting coats, hats, scarfs and gloves

for the Allegheny Valley Association of

Churches (AVAC) on Saturday,

November 9th and Sunday, November 10th in Our Lady

The Lower Valley Food Bank is sponsoring it’s annual Holiday Turkey Fund Appeal to benefit the clients of

the Lower Valley Food Bank. Your donation will provide a family with a holiday meal. Donations will be collected until November 6th. The Food Bank is also collecting

Crackers for the month of November.

Christmas Nativity Program Calling all kids in Pre-K through high school in all six of our parishes to participate in the Christmas Nativity program. The program will be December 22nd at 2 pm in Holy Family Church. All kids are welcome to participate. We need angels, wise men, shepherds, animals, Mary, Joseph, and angle choir members. Refreshments will be following in the church hall. To participate contact any of the parish offices or email [email protected]. We hope to have a great turnout and put on a wonderful program for our families, friends, and parishioners.

In the past few weeks, the students in CCD at both St. Alphonsus and OLMBS have said the rosary with the help of Geoffrey Benedict & the Knights of Columbus. They used a large rosary made out of beads to involve all the students in this hands-on this prayer. Thank you to the family, friends and parishioners who joined us as well.
