G lory to God

I want to encourage everyone of you in the pursuit of your heart's desire. The responsibil-ities and demands of ministry come with a firm price on those who respond and submit.

This is true of anything one would give themselves to achieve. The highs and lows are varied but the belief of accomplishing one's goals propels them always forward.

Something inside of me is driving and calling me to a remarkable place in God. In a lot of ways I re-lated to Abraham as God lead and directed him to a place he had never been and had no idea how to get there. Nevertheless Abraham, by faith, simply trusted God. That is where I find myself holding and squeezing ever so tightly the hand of my God.

Castle Rock, something is coming and it is historic and life-changing. I pray we will be a family of faith ready to handle and meet the challenge.

Valley. Through fasting and prayer and continued faithfulness, the

Lord has provided us with fertile ground and has given us the op-

ANNUAL BANQUETANNUAL BANQUETANNUAL BANQUET

T he annual banquet for our Daughters’ of Excellence (DOE)

Ministry was held on Saturday, February 15 at the Shandin

Hills Golf Club in

San Bernardino. Each of

the five young women who

were presented was beauti-

fully elegant in their ball

gowns. Each young lady

gracefully represented the

purpose of DOE: to promote

excellence while building

strong Christian character

and positive self-image in young women as they transition from teen

into adulthood. The parents, guardians and guests in attendance

were impressed as the young women individually shared the impact

the DOE ministry has had on their lives. Those in attendance were

also treated to a very special fa-

ther/daughter moment between Pastor

Jon and his daughter and senior gradu-

ate of DOE, Kaylee Harris, as they

danced to Stevie Wonder’s “Isn’t She

Lovely.” All of the girls, supported by

their parents and guardians, participated

in a poignant purity ceremony where they

each made a heartfelt and personal com-

mitment to the Lord to remain pure until

marriage. DOE continues to grow and thrive under the direction of

Sis. Leita and on March 8th, DOE launched its 12th season!!! Praise

the Lord! DOE is open to all young ladies ages 11-18 years old.
