Terms and Conditions For the use of Sri Krishna Kala Mandapam and other Facilities General Terms 1. Sri Krishna Kala Mandapam hall is available for use on a first come first basis. An application form should be filled up and given to the manager in the office with the details of the event. HATCC management will decide after reviewing the details in the form and the availability of the hall within 48 hours. The applicant shall complete the check list at the beginning and end of the event. Please note you and your guests read the terms and conditions for the use of the HATCC facilities. 2. The contributions for the use of the hall are shown in the table below. There are additional charges noted for specific items. 3. The hall can be used in the morning (8.30am to 1:30 pm), afternoon (3:30pm to 8.30pm) or full day (8.30am to 8.30pm) for an event. The contributions are based on use of half-a-day or full day. Special charges apply for use of the hall outside the temple working hours (Management approval required). Please also note, you the applicant agree to forfeit the entire deposit ($ 200) if you fail to vacate the premises 30 minutes after rental timings noted in the check list and/or leave the hall in un-cleaned condition and the chairs, etc. not put back in the respective places. 4. After unloading your items, please park your vehicles in the temple parking lot. Do not park in the priest parking or handicapped parking spaces. Vehicles illegally parked will be reported to the police and towed away at owner’s costs. 5. The total number of people for the event is limited to 500 people in the hall. (This is a strict requirement of the Township Fire Department) 6. No smoking is permitted within the HATCC premises. No alcoholic beverages are allowed on the premises. 7. Kindly ensure that children in the party do not play inside the temple and on the grounds (includes reflecting pool, parking lot) or cause any disturbance to the neighbors or the temple visitors. 8. Do not play music or any other audio equipment outside the hall. Music played inside the hall should be only devotional. Please be considerate to others in the temple with regard to noise level. 9. We will provide chairs that can be laid out for the program and should be stacked and put away after the event. Tables for serving food are available and can be set up at the back of the hall. 10. An initial deposit amount of $ 200.00 should accompany the application form. In the event the place is not cleaned properly, the deposit will not be returned. 11. At least 50 percent of the rental contribution must be paid 10 days prior to the event to secure the hall. 12. The hall is strictly used for conducting religious functions, traditional cultural events, and religious/educational discourses. The hall cannot be used for any political purposes. 13. Please use the temple facility carefully. Any damage to temple property will be billed to the devotees using the facilities. Please restrain from using staples, nails and pins. Adhesive tapes on walls, curtains and on the stage are strictly prohibited. 14. Devotees renting the hall for an event cannot use the hall for rehearsals, decorations prior to the event unless the HATCC management approves such requests and the hall available during temple hours only. No decoration items provided by HATCC. The free time allowed is 2 hours and if more is needed and approved will be charged at $ 100.00 per hour. 15. No solicitation is allowed outside the hall 16. Only a small table outside the hall door should be placed with a Ganesh/or any other welcome note. Any sale of tickets etc for the event shall be conducted inside the hall only. This will prevent a crowded lobby and free flow of devotees visiting the temple.

FOOD FOR THE EVENT

o Cooking and use of gas cylinders (subject to heavy fines) are strictly prohibited in the premises.

o Food can be catered from the HATCC Bhojanshalla. The menu discussed with the cook at least one week

prior to the event and accepted by the cook. The rates and charges will be provided by the temple

thereafter. Food for over 400 people will need approval from HATCC management.

o If only sweet/savories are required for the event, the same can be supplied by the temple Bhojanshalla if

contacted one week prior to the event

o HATCC allows food from outside provided they follow strictly our conditions of only vegetarian food (no

onion, no garlic, no mushrooms, no eggs)

o We allow partition of the hall to serve food in the rear end of the hall. Please avoid bringing food to the

stage and other parts of the hall.

o Please note any left-over food should be taken back or dumped into the garbage. Do not leave in the

table outside the hall. We monitor closely and violators will be fined.

CLEAN UP OF THE HALL The facility shall be provided in clean conditions and is expected the renter returns it in the same clean condition after its use. Clean up charges in addition to hall rental contribution is applicable as noted herein: Clean up charge of $ 150.00 for a party below 150 members Higher charges of $ 250.00 for a party above 150 to 300 members Maximum of $ 300 for members above 300

All garbage should be neatly tied and dumped in the garbage dumpster at the conclusion of the event.

USE OF HATCC PRIEST If the event requires priest services, at least one priest from HATCC must be used. The charges for the HATCC priest are not included in the hall contributions. Manager will provide the rate depending on the nature of the religious event.

Cancellation policy The full deposit amount will be returned if the event is cancelled and HATCC notified in writing with good reasons at least 10 days prior to the date of the event. Otherwise, the deposit will be forfeited.
