SCOPE

SSPC India - was founded in July 2004, as a non-profit professional society with focus on the use of coatings to protect industrial steel structures. SSPC India: The Society for Surface Protective Coatings serves its members and advances the Industry through standards, regulatory advocacy, education and information exchange. It has the large membership of companies such as facility owners, paint manufacturers, painting contractors, architectural, engineering and construction firms, educators.

This is an association of professionals engaged in educational institutes, Industrial houses and any other bodies interested in the area of protective coatings, corrosion science. The Society for Surface Protective Coating - India is registered under societies registration act of 1850 to the Registrar of Charitable trust. Society is formed to exercise control and manage the activities connected with the field of protective coatings.

We are now launching the 14th edition of the International Conference on ‘Surface Protective Coating & paint coating with EXPO’ at the CIDCO EXPO Centre, New Bombay. This time the conference will be with a new feature of discussions a few important issues in paint coatings followed by a few short presentations with an expert panel on the topic. These details are given below.

A Special session on, "An Interface between Paint manufacturers &end users"each of the above session will start with a panel discussion for 10 minutes followed by presentation of invited and contributed papers on these topics. Invited talk would be of 20 minutes while contributed papers will be of 12 minutes duration as per the presentation template which will be given to the presenter. In addition, there will be an extended Poster session from researchers (B. Tech, M. Tech. & Ph.D. Scholars)and industry entrepreneurs. The posters will be evaluated from a suitable panel of judges with Awards in various categories.
