ST. ANSELM CATHOLIC ACADEMY NEWS

On behalf of the Board of Directors and Principal Kevin Flanagan, I would like to thank all the students and families

who contributed to the recent collection for the Kabel Family of Bay Ridge, in memory of their daughter Sally

aka “Sweet Sally Sunshine”.

I received a very grateful note from Sally’s parents and they were truly touched by the collection, the notes from the students, and the love from St. Anselm Catholic Academy. I am proud to say that our school community raised $930 to support the family in

these most troubling times. God Bless everyone who donated to this family. All I can say is “wow” and thank you.

Our Mission Statement We, the Body of Christ: St. Anselm Parish in Bay Ridge, Brooklyn, rejoice in our parish’s more than 80 years of service to God, our Church, our country, and our community. As Christ is Priest, Prophet, and King, we celebrate the sacramental life of the Church, proclaim the Word of God, and serve the needs of our parishioners and neighbors always with faith, hope, and charity. Walking with Christ, we accept the challenge to call all people to worship, to teach all nations His Truth, and to love one another as He has loved us.
