The event features a lineup of livestock judging and competition, live music, a carnival and various family-friendly events. A Texas tradition for more than 80 years, the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo takes place March 1-20 at NRG Park. The event features a lineup of livestock judging and competition, live music, a carnival and various family-friendly events.

Riders compete in five three-day series brackets for cash prizes and a chance to make it to the Super Shootout championship round. The competition in-cludes traditional rodeo events, such as bareback horse riding, barrel racing, bull riding, saddle bronco riding, steer wrestling and cattle roping.
