whether image is moving. red + blue ——> red slow flash: indicates that camera is triggered by motion image and starts shooting.

Important specification for green light

green

Green long on: Indicates that the charging is finished. Green slow flash: Indicates that charging is on. Green quick flash: indicates a low battery, and will be turned down soon. Please charge the battery as soon as possible. Attention: No matter green lamp combines with any lamp, it only has the function indicating battery status or external power source status, and it has no other functions. Please do not get confused about its functions. As camera links the charger or computer, green lamp starts operating charging indication. When it is not finished, green lamp slow flash; when it’s finished charging, green lamp will be always on. As the camera does not link charger or computer, it will quick flash to tell you battery power is not enough when battery is running out. Please charge it as soon as possible.

4. Operation guide

4.1. Power on/off Graphical representation: Operating approach: Attention:

Power on: a. On the condition of OFF, press button ON for 3

seconds, the camera is on. b. After successfully launching the battery, the

red lamp is on and it is standby situation for video shooting.

Power off: a. Press OFF for about 3 seconds, all indicator

lights are off and the camera is off.

If your camera is working, when you close the camera, it will simultaneously save the video shooting profile.

Press mode key in short time, switch working mode in turn as follows:

Only in standby situation, user can switch camera mode. When the camera is shooting, that is when the working situation indicator light is flickering, please stop shooting first. about photo taking and motion image triggering video shooting mode: When the camera links no charger, it has functions: HD photo taking, fine voice recording, and photo taking.

4.3. HD video shooting Graphical representation: Operating approach: Attention:

Before using this function, it should be first switched to video shooting mode. Under this mode, the indicator lamp is red. Start video shooting: when the red lamp is long on, it indicates that the camera is at the standby status for video shooting. Press operating button in short time and start shooting. As the camera starts shooting, red lamp will slowly flash in regular period. stop shooting: When the red lamp is slowly flashing in regular period, it indicates that the camera is at the video shooting mode. At this time if pressing the operating button in short time, user can stop the camera from shooting. After camera stops shooting, the red lamp will switch from flashing status to long on status.

In order to guarantee the size and safety of the shooting profile, the system will spontaneously save profile every once in a while, and continue video shooting. Automatic segmentation of time is factory default, please consult local distributors. Please ensure that camera is not blocked, watch body upright and stable, 50cm distance from the record items or persons in the sufficient lighting environment in order to get correct direction, natural color, distinct pictures and stable images. Do not shelter the pickup part of microphone in order to get clear voice recording.

4.4. Fine voice recording Graphical representation: Operating approach: Attention:

Before taking this function, user should switch working mode to voice recording mode. Under voice recording mode, the correspondent indicator light is blue . start recording: When the blue lamp in long on, it indicates that the camera is at the standby of voice recording mode. Press the operation button in short time can start recording. Blue lamp will flicker slowly in regular period if camera starts recording. stop recording: When the blue lamp is slowly flashing in regular period, it indicates that the camera is at the voice recording mode. At this time if pressing the operating button in short time, user can stop the camera from recording. After camera stops recording, the blue lamp will switch from flickering status to long on status.

4.5. Photo taking

When the camera links no computer USB or charger, user can apply photo taking function. Before applying this function, user should switch the working mode to photo taking mode; under this mode, the indicator lights are red + blue. taking photos: When red and blue are long on at the same time, it indicates that the camera is at the standby status for photo taking. Press operating button one time for one picture. Every time taking a photo, red and blue lights start flickering simultaneously. When flickering stops,

4.6. Motion detection photo taking

image to trigger automatic photo taking function. Before applying this function, user should switch the working mode to motion detection mode. Under this mode, the correspondent indicator lights are red + blue. Start detecting image: When red and blue lights are long on, it indicates that the camera is at the standby status. Press operating button to start detecting image. After camera detecting image, red and blue lamps will simultaneously flicker. Start shooting: When image objective motion range exceeds some extent, camera can detect and start shooting automatically. After a while, camera stops shooting and continues detecting the motion object. If exceeding certain extent, camera will continue to start a new shooting. Indicator light is red flickering when it is shooting. Stop monitoring: Press operating button to stop shooting and monitoring. Indicator lights are red and blue long on.

when camera is at this mode, user can chat with friends on the internet or conduct web conference with colleagues. User can also take sticker photos and other novel applications though third party WINDOWS software. The approach to enter computer camera mode: Under OFF condition, press operating button without letting go, link computer USB interface at the same time, after about 4 seconds, IP camera will finish connecting to internet. Open MY COMPUTER, IP camera icon will be seen in the window; it indicates that camera function is on. During PCCAM normal functioning, red light indicates data communication status; if user is using camera, red light will slowly flicker, if not using camera function red light is long on.

According to computer configuration or system difference, computer cannot always detect camera function as soon as user link it with computer. If camera mode does not show up accidentally but enter removable disk mode, please remove the camera, and link it to the computer once again. The computer camera can only support WINDOWS system for the time being. If user want to disconnect camera with computer, please uninstall the product in proper way.

4.8. Removable disk Graphical representation: Operating approach: Attention:

The camera has the function of removable disk, user can use it as USB flash drive. Under the condition of removable disk linking properly, user can see your profile. Video: This folder is used to save video profile in the camera. Picture: this folder is used to save camera shooting photos profile. Voice: this folder is used to save voice recording profile. When removable disk functioning normally, red light indicates data communication status. If it is exchanging data, red light will flicker slowly; if no data exchanging, red light will be long on.

According to computer configuration or system difference, computer cannot always detect removable -disk function as soon as user link it with computer. If not enter this mode, please remove the device, and link it to the computer once again. The function can only support WINDOWS system for the time being. If user want to disconnect device with computer, please uninstall the product in proper way.

4.9. Charging and sustainably supplying power with external power source Graphical representation: Operating approach: Attention:

Charging: Lin it to computer USB or charger, user can charge the camera. When linking computer USB or charger, the green indicator light will be on and offer charging information. Battery is charging—green light slowly flicker with uniform velocity. Battery has finished charging—green light will always be on. External direct current power supply continually: When linking the charger, camera can work while charging and user need not worry about the battery running out. If user need to supply direct current power supply through computer USB as camera working power supply, please uninstall devices (uninstall in operating system but not pull out the data link), then user can operate shooting.

This unit is built in with high capacity polymer lithium battery without memory effect, which may be charged during use. But for the first five times of use, please run out the battery power and then charge to the full to activate the highest capacity of battery and obtain the standard working hours; to maximize the battery power storage capacity, please continue to charge for 30 minutes to 1 hour when the indicator lamp indicates the full charging status upon charging every time. Please make sure that the power supply complies with the standard USB power supply specifications.

PC tools The camera carries PC setting tools to set camera date and time, encrypt and decrypt the memory card. The approach to operate PC tools: Insert the camera to computer USB interface and wait for computer to detect the camera. a. After successful linking with computer, open MY COMPUTER and user will

find two new devices: one is Disk Tools CD room and the other is removable disk, and PC setting tools are stored in those new CD rooms.

b. Double click the CD room lock-shape icon to open setting tools. Setting tools are as follows:

attention: Due to the fact that some computer installing antivirus program, it forbids CD room automatically operating function. Under this condition, user cannot operate setting tools by double click icon. User can use right hand open command to enter CD room and operate setting tools directly. The name of setting tool is “DiskTools”.

Setting the date and time User can set the date and time property as follows: a. Open setting tool, click time adjusting button and open setting window.

b. Set the time according to user’ s needs. year month and date setting: User can input the time or click the right pull down arrow to open date and time setting panel. Hour, minute and second setting: User can input the time get equipment time: click this button user can get the current camera time. Get PC time: click this button user can get current computer system time that camera is linked to. Time adjusting: after adjusting the date and time, click this button to enable the

setting to take effect. Save user setting date and time to camera. synchronically.

Encrypt and decrypt the memory card Password setting: User can set the password for the memory card to protect user’s profile effectively. Under the condition that other know nothing about the password, they cannot see and edit user’s data through camera or other card readers. Cryptographic security can effectively protect user privacy for civil-use products. a. Open setting tools, double click “set password” and start password setting window. b. Input password and confirm password in the password input box, make sure the password is the same twice user inputs in the input box.

Clear password: If user does not want to input password every time read the memory card, user can clear the password that was set before. The premise of clearing the password is that user have to log-in memory card with correct password and then user can apply the function to clear password. After clearing the password, user’s memory card information will not be protected any longer and other can easily read and write the data inside. If forgetting the password, please refer to password resetting function: If user forget the password that was set in memory card, user can apply the password resetting function and reset password for the memory card. After finishing the resetting user needs to format the memory card. Attention: After using the password resetting function, data in memory card will be lost. Please be cautious about this. If using password resetting function, user cannot open the memory card, then it maybe the card’s problem or it is encrypted on other products. Use encrypted TF card: If user wants to apply an encrypted TF card to the camera, please link the product to the computer and use the correct password to log-in so that the camera can correctly record the card information, otherwise user cannot be able to operate the card.

4.13. Set the camera parameters: The camera is multifunctional, among those functions many parameters are able to be set according to user’s needs. Parameter setting is placed in SETUP.INI profile under removable disk root directory. Open the profile, user can edit the parameters. the profile is automatically generated, even if user delete the files in memory card, it will automatically generate again and set the parameters as default. For each parameter, their connotation and options available are as

Battery charger: Transfer the civil-use alternating current to accepted standard USB power supply, it is used to charge the camera and to be as sustainable power source.

Car charger: Transfer the car cigarette lighter direct current to camera accepting standard USB power supply. It can be used to charge the camera and be used as sustainable power source.

Power supply extended line: It is a long black line only used to charge the camera and cannot be used as data link.

Data link: It is a transparent short line used to link camera and computer USB interface, operate data transferring. It can be used to charge the camera.

Slip-proof mat It is a black square rubber mat, with excellent slip-proof function. It can be used to place camera and prevent camera from slipping during shaking conditions.

6. Common problems: Q: why does the red light(memory card malfunction indicator) quickly flicker after inserting the memory card? A: The reasons are variable. They maybe: 1. Do not set CycleRecord parameter as NO in the setup.ini file. The memory card has no room and it needs to link with computer and change the cycling shooting parameters, or delete unnecessary files to make room for it. 2. The memory card has encrypted on other products or encrypted on this camera but it is a long time ago. Then you can try to insert the memory card to camera and input your password, if it still cannot work, you can try to reset the password. If password resetting cannot work, then the memory card must be broken down or encrypted by

other hig-tech devices. 3. The way you insert the memory card is wrong, it cannot work if it is inserted in a wrong way. Q: What can be done if camera shows no response to operation command when the camera is system halted? A: You need to reset the camera. The approach is press mode button and operating button at the same time. Q: my camera cannot be linked to computer as IP camera or removable disk, why? A: Firstly, make sure you fully understand the linking approach for IP camera, and operate in correct way. Try more times, if it still cannot be linked to computer, please check computer USB interface, data link, product USB interface respectively.
