The item Installation Column is the perfect solution for fitting out production areas and other workspaces with connection points for power, compressed air and network access. The stable column incorporates two large cable conduits. Sockets, switches and jacks can be simply clipped into the column openings. Once you’ve laid your cables and installed your connection points, you can then seal the open conduits with a smooth aluminium profile.Two Line 8 grooves on each of the four sides offer ideal attachment points for light fittings, Pivot Arms and other accessories, thereby enhancing the productivity of the Installation Column in a whole variety of ways.The column also includes two internal aluminium ducts designed to convey compressed air. The Pneumatic Connecting Set can be installed at any height on the column so that connections for compressed-air tools can be installed at the ideal position. Partition Profiles can be used to subdivide each cable conduit into two separate sections. This ensures that high and low voltage lines can be kept safely apart.The column is held securely in place by the solid Base Plate and the versatile Ceiling Mount, which offers height adjustment options and makes it easier to introduce cables and lines.

Never lose your connection again – the item Installation Column Profile supplies areas in e.g. production and logistics with power, compressed air, network cables, etc. and avoids a tangled mass of cables. The stable column incorporates two spacious cable conduits that can each be divided into two separate sections using Partition Profiles K76 K. This ensures that high and low voltage lines can be kept safely apart. The column complies with all the installation guidelines in EN 50174.The column also includes two aluminium ducts designed to convey compressed air.Maximum stability is ensured by a solid Base Plate and a versatile Ceiling Mount, which is slotted over the end face of the column to provide a height-adjustment option and is securely bolted into place.The outer surface of the rectangular Installation Column Profile is also a true all-rounder. Each side of the column features two Line 8 grooves that can be used to mount light fittings, monitors, Pivot Arms, notice boards, Parts Containers, etc.The opening on the conduits, meanwhile, accommodates Mounting Boxes, Sockets, Keystone Modules and Switches, which are clipped into place with no need for machining. item offers a wide range of compatible installation devices.Open sections of the column can be cleanly closed over with the corresponding aluminium Cover Profile. Power, compressed air, data network access – all from a single, central point. The item Installation Column Profile is a robust and versatile solution for routing supply lines right up to workstations.The sturdy Installation Column Profile features two large cable conduits that can each be divided in two using Partition Profiles K76 K to route high and low voltage lines separately in line with EN 50174.The opening on the conduits also holds Mounting Boxes in place. Mounting Boxes are simply plugged into place where needed and are used to install network connections, couplings for CEE three-phase plug connectors and conventional sockets at the desired positions. Each side features two Line 8 grooves for mounting accessories.Two aluminium ducts inside the Column can be used to convey compressed air. Partition Profile K76 K is used in Installation Column Profile 8 160x160 K76 to ensure that low-voltage cables (network, data, etc.) are routed separately to cables carrying high operating voltages. Routing the cables through separate conduits in line with the installation guidelines in EN 50174 reduces the chance of interference.Partition Profile K76 K is clipped into place in the central groove of the installation conduit, with no need for machining work. The plastic profile creates two continuous conduits.Additional stability is provided by Partition Profile Clip K76, which is rolled into the conduit opening and clipped into place to prevent deflection of the Partition Profile. The Clip also ensures that cables routed over long stretch-es cannot slip out of their section of the conduit.

This aluminium profile seals the cable conduit of Installation Column Profile 8 160x160 K76. It is held securely in dedicated grooves by Locking Clips and does not require any screw fixings. The conduit can be reopened just as easily to permit maintenance work.Cover Profile 76 Al can be cut to length easily to make space for sockets and connections.Note: Locking Clips (0.0.663.42) are used to secure the Cover Profile in place and create an electrical contact with the lower part of the column. Each segment of the Cover Profile must be secured with at least four Locking Clips. We recommend using six Locking Clips to secure profile lengths measuring from 1000 mm to 2000 mm and at least eight for lengths of over 2000 mm. The Locking Clips ensure that the Cover Profile is earthed.

Ceiling Mount, Installation Column ProfileBase Plate, Installation Column ProfileThe Ceiling Mount makes the Installation Column even more stable. It secures the column to the ceiling and is also used for height adjustment.The Ceiling Mount for the Installation Column Profile comprises the fastening plate for the ceiling and two U-shaped profiles made from steel sheet. These profiles are anchored in the Line 8 grooves of the item Installation Column, which means that the gap between the top of the column and the ceiling can be varied. This design makes it much easier to route cables and supply lines via the ceiling.Everything needed to connect the Ceiling Mount is included in the scope of supply.

The stable Base Plate ensures the item Installation Column is securely fixed and should be anchored to the floor via four holes.Base Plate, Installation Column Profile 8 160x160 is attached directly to Installation Column Profile 8 (0.0.663.39) with four bolts. Two Sealing Plugs supplied with the Base Plate ensure the integrated compressed air ducts are airtight.

Simply plug the desired Mounting Box for one, two or three installation elements into the cable conduit opening, insert and connect up the relevant connection and clip the Face Plate into place. That’s all it takes to get sockets, network connections and other elements ready for use.The item accessories range covers all typical application areas – protective contact sockets, couplings for CEE three-phase plug connectors, RJ45 network connections and switches. On request, item can also provide installation elements for additional applications.Installation Unit K76 M45 2 HP with Mounting Rail accommodates safety devices such as automatic circuit-breakers and RCD protection switches. It is advisable to use Strain Relief Device, Mounting Box K76 to safeguard cables.Note:The open sections of the cable conduit are sealed with Cover Profile 76 Al (0.0.663.41). The lower part of the Mounting Box can be folded back and even removed so that cables can be connected quickly. The feed openings are designed to accommodate cables up to 14 mm in diameter. The screw fastenings are spaced 60 mm apart.Because the internal dimensions comply with DIN 49073 Part 1, it is compati-ble with conventional installation devices such as sockets and switches with a gauge of 71mm.

The Installation Unit accommodates automatic circuit-breakers or RCD protection switches up to a maximum of 2 HP. Accessories and all necessary fastening elements are supplied, such as Mounting Box K76 M45, which is used to attach the unit to the item Installation Column. A mounting rail, cover housing and Face Plate are also included in the set. Only the required protective device needs to be added.

When malfunctions occur, metallic parts can become live. The Earth Connection should therefore be used on Installation Column Profile 8 160x160 K76 to ensure that any current is safely dissipated. It is inserted in the track to the side of the central groove in the cable conduit. The screw connection breaks through the insulating anodized surface covering of the aluminium profile to ensure that residual currents and static charges can be safely dissipated.

Working under pressure isn’t a problem with the item Installation Column and Pneumatic Con-necting Set 8 160x40 G1/2. The G1/2 threaded bore to ISO 228-1 accommodates standard compressed air couplings. The mounting plate is fitted to the side of the Installation Column Profile, at any height. A hole also has to be drilled through to the integrated compressed air duct in the Installation Column Profile. The corresponding drill template is included in the scope of supply.

Three pre-configured models are available, each in both a single and double pivot arm variant, to make work benches more productive and reduce the strain on employees.The Tray Pivot Arm is ideal for larger, loose workpieces and tools and as a flexible fixture for positioning storage boxes. The tray features a continuously variable tilt mechanism and all-round edging that keeps everything in place without getting in the way of work.The Container Pivot Arm is perfect for Parts Containers and semi-open fronted boxes. Its four tilting container profiles feature support ribs that will hold containers securely in place but also allow users to change and rearrange containers in no time. Furthermore, it is fully compatible with semi-open fronted boxes from a range of manufacturers.The key feature of the Tool Pivot Arm is its versatility. All four support struts can be adjusted to the perfect height by moving them up or down the vertical groove they are mounted on. Hooks, Tool Holders, Magnetic Holders, etc. are available as accessories. The practical Roller Conveyor 6 40x40 E can now do even more! All roller elements are now available in an ESD-safe version which means that sensitive goods (and employees) can be protected against static charging during transport. Rollers D11 can be used to create very smooth-running conveyor lines. Their tight roller spacing provides continuous, even support for small and sensitive goods along the entire line. This minimises vibration and ensures that even soft-bottomed cardboard boxes can be conveyed.Roller Conveyor 6 40x40 E is delivered fully assembled with your desired roller elements. In addition to compact Rollers D11, you can also choose from strong Castors D30 with and without flanged wheels and side-by-side, offset Castors D30/2. Castors D30 in red, yellow, green and grey can be used to create visual indicators. The following applies to all roller elements: They can be changed without tools and without having to remove other roller elements.The rigid roller conveyor exhibits extremely good load-carrying capacity, even over long stretches. A Line 6 groove on the underside is used to fasten the profile to the frame. The friction-based con-nection gives the frame added strength. The groove can also be used to fasten the profile to panel elements so as to protect the floor or lower-level roller conveyors from soiling.A compatible Guide Rail can also be slotted into the side groove to provide lateral guidance. The aluminium rail makes the profile even more deflection resistant. The Guide Rails are available in two designs, with the rail spaced either 30 mm (0.0.657.88) or 60 mm (0.0.654.09) from the centre of the roller conveyor. Additional Slide Strips (0.0.654.94) stop sensitive goods from being scratched.

Fastening Bracket D30 with Forward Stop H43 connects the roller conveyor to a Profile Tube D30 and brings transported goods to a halt with its projecting stop. The design supports short reaching distances and simple removal actions because crates etc. come to a stop above the horizontal strut.
