MEASURE 1D: DEFINITIONS

• Cohort: Entering students in a specified term.

• Graduated: The cumulative percentage of students in the cohort that have graduated by the end of the specified term.

• Retained: The percentage of students in the cohort that have not graduated and are enrolled during the specified term.

• Transferred: The cumulative percentage of students in the cohort that have not graduated and are not enrolled but have enrolled at another U.S. institution.

• Success: The cumulative percentage of students in the cohort that have graduated or transferred plus the percent enrolled during a specific term.
