DESIGN SPECIFICATION SOF AUTOMATION CONTROLS OF NAVI MUMBAI GUEST
HOUSE
LV SLOUTION LV PACKAGE
THE BOQ AND SPECIFICATIONS SHALL CATER TO THE FOLLOWING SYSTEM DESIGN
FOR CONTROL SYSTEM OF VVIP THIRD AND FOURTH FLOOR AREAS
The need of lighting and complete automation control system arises when such a huge
application area involves a number of lighting fixtures and sound devices, are to be controlled
efficiently.
An automation control system not only provides the flexibility of controlling the light as per the
design and layout in such area, but also enhances the important aspects of energy conservation
leading to reduced electricity consumption.
In the CORRIDORS, the ceiling lights shall be connected to the SENSOR which would be
controlling all the lights automatically, as per the preset program, in the sensor .It can be timed
to either switch on or off as per the absence /presence of people in the corridor. This programshall be set into the sensor along with the 4 SCENE CONTROLLERS and can be programmed
to manually override in case required. These sensors are integrated to the wall mount scene
controllers on both sides of corridors. The sensor shall automatically detect movements/traffic in
the room to switch all the lights on/off as per the occupancy. The lights hence shall be switched
on once someone enters the corridor and switched off if the occupancy is nil. Individual
programs can be switched on/off directly from this wall mount switching controller as well.
A continuous flow of music is planned in this area that can also be centrally controlled from the
Reception lobby situated at both sides of the floor (only in the left hand side of VVIP area) while
the slave modules are controlling the sound from respective local areas as well.
The speakers are installed in the corridors and centrally controlled from 3.5”Touch screens
mounted in these 2 lobby areas. The sound is a background music system which shall
continually paly as per the choice of the EXTERNAL AUDIO SOURCE TO BE SELECTED
LATER BY THE CLIENT INDEPENDENT OF THIS SYSTEM)
A 3.5INCH DISPLAY TOUCH SCREEN shall be controlling the lights along with sound
integrated. as a scene setting respective to each suite, programmed as per the need of the user
.Some of the scenes are preset for the suites like welcome scene, night scene, morning scene
which shall program all the services of sound, lights along with volume presets and light
dimming of all circuits. With a single press on the icon established after the programming into
the screen, all the circuits of lights and sound shall be instantaneously and simultaneously
working together as per the preset program. Up to 20 such scenes can be achieved from these
screens..
The system is distributed with input devices like 3.5” TOUCH SCREENS, SCENERIO
CONTROLLERS RCI INPUTS,ETC. as the front end or INPUT DEVICES which are installed in
rooms only for recalling the preset or preprogrammed scenes set in these modules.

However, THE BACK END DEVICES or the brain of the system shell be working in the DB
installed next to the Electrical DB on each floor. Devices like RELAYS, ACTUATERS,
DIMMERS 1-10 V DIMMERS, and AUDIO VIDEO INTERFACES ETC. are all installed and
commissioned in this a SEPARATE AUTOMATION DB, HOUSING ALL SUCH COMPONENTS
IN THS DESIGN. This DB shall be customized and so far not accounted for in the budgetary
quote of the tender.
LOBBY shall be the main pivot to showcase all the panels and treated as a master panel to
control all areas from this location. controlling within the designated areas but also be treated for
master control like switching all the floor on /off or switching on/off the sound of the sound panel
This control System also integrates all above mentioned capabilities along with lights at a touch
of virtual buttons available on a GUI Touch Screen.
This Touch Screen System will control Lights, Audio etc. It will be a user friendly tool in the hand
of the user.
However, in the areas WITHIN THE SUITES, shall be a bedside control of 4 scene controllersare provided to the user and same panel at entrance to control the entire presets specific to
these rooms, suites. To manually control the volume and switching of the audio system, special
control wall mount key switch, along with a flush mounted Amplifier in each suite is provided in
for manual override as well as the manual control of the system
However, the user can also operate and command the Touch screen via a hand held remote as
well.
The building is closely monitored by the system to calculate and define the USAGE of electricity
IN THE ENTIRE BUILDING which can be measured and logged to understand the behavior and
consumption of electric supply attached to the system.
Also the loads can be selectively defined to minimize the consumption automatically when the
areas ARE NOT IN USE.
