Accuracy and reliability in .s.enerating video timina. sources are hallmarks of Videotek

designs. The advanced STG-6000 and STG-6600 system timing generators

are proven performers, idea/1y suited for centralized control of studio and remote system

cameras timed by a genlock reference. Each unit provides a looping input for the black-

burst reference to which it genlocks, a/lowing for stand-alone operation. These single-rack

units distribute blackburst references to as many as six different devices while supporting

individual adjustment of both horizontal (H) and subcarrier (SC) phases.

Videotek's VDP-8601 serial digital frame synchronizer delivers transparent signal

processing and stable, jitter-free lock up of noisy video signals. This powerful] /2

rack-wide stand-alone unit equalizes and amplifies 601 serial digital incoming signals

and passes embedded audio. The VDP-8601 monitors and regenerates Error Detection

Handling (EDH) signals in both 525/60 and 625/50 systems.

The VDP-8601 provides complete control of fields or frame freeze and display and

includes line-by-Iine selectable vertical blanking. The VDP-8601 genlocks to NTSC or PAL

stable reference signals (blackburst or color bars) or free runs without a genlock input.

Expanding the success of our Analog Frame Store/Synchronizers, the VDP-8601 is the

The VSG-201 is an RS-170A Color Sync Generator designed with the accuracyand

driff-free performance you require, providing digitally-generated reference signals forcomposite analog NTSC systems. Six isolated blackburst outputs provide reference formultiple devices. Discrete drive pulses for special requirements are also provided. The VSG-.200D family of sync generators is specifically designed for use in 601serial digital and hybrid analog / digital applications in both 525/60 and 625/50systems. A high stability TCXO provides the necessary accuracy for the most demandingrequirements. All models have infinite genlock timing range, and four analog blackburstoutputs for system timing plus constant digital black and digital test signals.
