2003 Equilibria Equilibria E 4000 Synthesis, Structure and Thermal Contraction of a New Low-Temperature Poly- morph of ZrMo 2 O 8 . — The new negative thermal expansion polymorph of the title compound is prepared by heating the precursor ZrMo2O7(OH)2·2H2O at 573 K for 8 h. The pathway from the precursor phase, via the new intermediate polymorph, to the cubic phase is monitored by in situ variable temperature XRD.
