The law-making bodies are required to discuss various local, national and international issues

and then make suitable laws on them. The members of these bodies present all points of views

and try to represent all kinds of interests related to a problem. Eventually there is

accommodation of various interests and a compromise decision is taken. An effort is always

made to take such a decision as would please most and antagonise least. Such decisions arefrequently taken by Parliament.

This year we bring to you, The Mock Parliament. Deliberate upon policy reforms and their

consequences from the point of view of your political party. Be prepared to put your economic

rationale and convincing capabilities to test. The task is to hammer out the solution to

contentious economic issues in an innovative manner while keeping intact the ideology of the

party. Each team consisting of 2-3 members will be allotted a political party. (hypothetical parties will

be allotted to each team at the time of registration.)

It's unwise to pay too much, but it's worse to pay too little. When you pay too much, you

lose a little money - that's all. When you pay too little, you sometimes lose everything,

because the thing you bought was incapable of doing the thing it was bought to do. The

common law of business balance prohibits paying a little and getting a lot - it can't be done. If

you deal with the lowest bidder, it is well to add something for the risk you run, and if you dothat you will have enough to pay for something better.

quoted by Albert Einstein "Logic will take you from A to B, but imagination will take you

    everywhere"

So here's a chance to let your imagination fall free and wake the entrepreneur in you. The

field is set and resources estimated. Get ready to sweat it all to be the next Tata, birla or

    ambani..

One of the funny things about the stock market is that every time one person buys, another

sells, and both think they are astute.

The very first thing we relate to economics is stock market and shares. If you wonder that how

buying shares make you rich or sinks you down, your wait is over. As we bring a game

exclusively for you to understand the ups and downs of stock market which will take you

through the main moves of share transactions... Well, making money is always fun, isnt it?No worries if you are a beginner, this game is all what you need to get started. Its a fun to play

game as well as to learn...

No two games will ever be the same, as you change your tactics to suit the changing share

prices of the companies, depending on the events, which play on.

In a journal ,Michael Watt and Robert Smith echo Schumpeters note that literature may

portion of the course. So, participants come out of all this flitters, bring your love for writing
