Symtech Solar PV Training WorkshopTwo one-day solar installation training seminars at the Partner’s location of choice – One per semester (restrictions apply and are dependent on partnership level). Symtech Solar PV Engineers will come to your location and will setup a hands on training workshop with your team. During the workshop your team will be given an in-depth overview of the Symtech Solar PV kits to understand the relevance of all PV system components and the most useful and prevalent installation PV practices.

*SymQuote GeneratorOur proposal tool is an online tool that will allow your installers to make light PV system proposals in just minutes. With our PV Quote Generator tool you will be able to:

Site QuestionnairesSymtech Solar Questionnaires and site evaluation forms are important pre-inspection tools that any professional installer should have before planning a physical site visit to a jobsite. During the visit the installer will determine the minimum site requirements to conduct a safe and effective PV installation. Data collection from specific landscapes, rooftop and/or existing building surfaces need to be assessed as a first step prior to any realistic PV System building plan.

Our questionnaires will allow the installer to identify potential threats or hazards that might interfere with the generation, performance and/or installation of our PV system. Additionally, they will serve as a tool that will inform the home/business owner whether or not the current conditions of their property are suitable for a solar energy system.

*Voltage Drop CalculatorThe STSG Vdrop-Calc for installers, will determine any potential losses of energy in a PV system DC Wiring. This tool can also be used as a single string planning tool and will help reduce the DC voltage drop percentages by assigning the most optimal PV wire gauge sizes. This tool can be used on any Symtech Solar PV system application. It is a great design and planning device for your team.

PV Kit Electrical and Mechanical DrawingsAll Symtech Solar PV kits come with complete PV Kit electrical and mechanical drawings. We offer these drawing packages in both print, PDF or CAD formats.

Solar Training PPTOur Solar Training Document portal contains supporting technical materials that will offer new installation tips, industry knowhow, safety updates, as well as details on systems/components and our partners new pv project installations from around the world.

MC4 Connector Tool KitThe is a must for any PV installer. With this tool you can arrange your solar wire plan more effectively. The tools are built specifically to work with solar PV wire and MC4 connector terminals. Customize your PV Wire runs and connect your MC4’s in just minutes.

Personalized Technical SupportPersonalized Technical Support is always needed when setting up a PV project. Symtech Solar is aware of this and supports its partners with a responsive, comprehensive and personalized support plan that will address the main concerns and hurdles of a PV project. Symtech Solar’s Technical team of PV Engineers will guide you step by step to enable you to conduct the installation process of a PV System and will walk you through any technical related issues that may arise on the jobsite.

Symtech Installer Safety EquipmentYour safety is our priority. By offering a variety of installer safety equipment which includes helmets, gloves, robes, and roof harness, you can ensure that your staffs will be protected during installation and throughout all required maintenance process’s.

*All Symtech solar kits come with wiring harnesses that are designed for voltage drop percentages below 3%. If you would like to increase the wire runs at your specific

site the Vdrop-Calc will allow a better determination of what wire size should be used.

Sales ToolsWe at Symtech Solar understand that supportive documentation is important for a successful PV system sale, and that your customer should fully understand the value of adopting a PV System in their home or business. Our sales tools include templates and calculators that contain system generation and financial estimates that are needed when working with customers who are making the decision to go Solar.

PV System Kit Quote TemplateOur template can be used to shape the total price structure of a PV System. It offers custom fields which include: system costs, materials and installation labour costs, system sizes, carbon footprint offset, first year power generation estimates, annual energy savings and more.

ROI CalculatorTo calculate the payback of a PV System a number of variables must be considered. The ROI Calculator includes the following variables: system size, cost of materials, labor installation costs, climate data, electric kWh costs, utility and/or government rebates, location of the solar array and future energy inflation rates. The ROI Calculator is customizable and it can include other variables specific to your market. You decide which variables to include; it is simple to use and a great sales tool to have in hand when offering a PV System.
