Homework assignments: a list of suggested homework problems is attached in the end. Although homework will not be collected for grading, it is essential to the course and assessment. Similar questions will appear in both midterms and final. Quizzes: No Exams: there will be three in-class exams (75 minutes) and one final exam (2 hours).The exams are closed book- no books, notes, or phones. Picture I.D. is required and must be presented upon request. Students are expected to be present for all quizzes and final exam. There are no early exams. A late exam will be administered only at the discretion of the instructor in the event of a verifiable emergency. In the event of a verifiable emergency, you must contact the instructor as soon as possible, and in any case, prior to the next regularly scheduled class.

Grade:Grade is based on the following:Midterms: 60 % (3 x 20%) Three midterms Exam 1: Feb 19, Exam 2: March 19, Exam 3: April 16Final Exam (cumulative, April 28. 2015, Tuesday, 5:00-7:00PM) : 40 %
